ILLYS Fire Pizza

Robert and his family make an incredible fire-roasted pizza. Ours was loaded with cheese and vegetables! Located in the West Social Tap and Table food hall, across from the Dayton Heritage National Historic Park. Visit when in the area, you won't be disappointed!

Great Pizza! Crispy charred crust with no flop. Complex flavored sauce and pepperoni on every bite. Passing through town, I walked in and was greeted with a sampler plate of chicken wings just because. Great people and great pizza! Thanks Illy!

We stopped into West Social Tap & Table and decided to go with a 10" fired cheese pizza from Illy's. The kid loved sitting in their tall chairs, watching the friendly workers move the pizzas around their giant red oven and seeing our pizza come out, hot and fresh. The pizza was delicious, with plenty of ooey gooey cheesy goodness. They have a lot of great combos on their menu, and their meats are turkey, not pork. They also offer several salads, pizookies, and some great starters like crispy ravioli, pizza jalapeno poppers, cheesy bread, and calzones. They have a fun hip hop theme going on too!

We are from the Fairfield, OH area (north of Cincinnati). Stumbled across West Social Tap & Table when we visited the Aviation Trail museum. Illy's pizza is excellent. We enjoyed a cheese pizza for my son and the toasted ravioli. What really struck us was the owners positive energy and vibe. He just has an energy and passion that you can see in how he interacted with us and others. You can truly tell he loves what he has built here with Illy's. And lastly as a child of the late 70's, growing up on Slick Rick, Run DMC. LL Cool J, The Roots, etc - the 80's/90's Hip Hop theme is just a great bonus! :)

This could very well be the best pizza in Dayton. Hard to do considering the great competition in the area. But this may be the best pizza in the entire region. Perfectly proportioned pizza with a light crunchy crust, loaded with toppings and blistered to perfection. Got the OG, the hot boy, and the jalapeño poppers (like a deconstructed roasted stuffed pepper) which was all incredible. My only regret? Not saving enough room for the fried ravioli. Next time for sure. Keep doing what you're doing, you are a shine in the gem city.
