Hyde Perk

A simple coffee shop that's tucked in Hyde Park. You walk in and there is a nice amount of seating, some comfy chairs by a fireplace, some high top seating, and tables.There is nice chalk artwork on the makeup of different coffee/tea which I enjoyed. The chalk continues for the menu.Prices are average. I ordered a chai latte and it was yummy, a lot of foam, and a bit sweet.

I have 3 stars because the coffee was decent and the place looking pretty nice. I was trying to be more supportive to local businesses instead of chain stores. So as I trying out places, this store was one on my list. I would say the space is pretty small but warm, have a little corner w fireplace, some boardgames, coffee art work on the wall. Then come to the register, even tho there were no one in line, the barista/host were short and cold, even after I came with a smile and telling her it is my first time here. I order, got my coffee, drank my coffee, took some pictures and left. It wasn't an enjoyable morning as I wanted. I wouldn't come back again, there are plenty of local coffee shop I can be at, not that they seem to care.

The ambiance is super cute and I enjoyed my matcha latte! I wouldn't say the staff was the friendliest or most welcoming I've ever experienced but I'd recommend outside of that!

Coffee is good and there's plenty of outlets if you want to get work done the chairs just aren't super comfortable.

While visiting family in Hyde Park, a wonderful little suburb of Cincinnati, we frequented Hyde Perk, a quaint and delightful little coffee shop down the street from our hotel. Friendly baristas, open relaxing atmosphere, and right off the newly renovated public walking path for easy access. Pastries were not that great and could use some improvement. Would go back again though for sure.

First of all, it sounds nerdy but I love coffee shops that really get tea. I stopped in for a quick sec while waiting for my daughter to wash the dog and it was a nice spot with good music and a great vibe, probably one of the best kept coffee shop secrets! I look forward to stopping in again -- on purpose. Also, the winter tea blend was amazing!

The drinks are very yummy! I love the glass jars they serve their matcha in. And it always feels very cozy and welcoming.

I was just in this coffee house, planning to meet a friend. After waiting for 10 or 15 minutes with a glass of water I got a text that he would not be able to make it so I finished up some work, I was doing on my laptop and started putting stuff away when a rude employee asked me "excuse me, sir are you planning on ordering something? Because you can't just come in here and drink our water". Don't worry honey , I'll never be back and I will spread the word.

Worst muffin I've ever had in my life for $5. The hot chocolate was above average, but so expensive. I'm glad the baristas are friends, but I had to wait for them to finish their conversation before ordering.The interior feels like a hotel bar. If you come for the drinks, just don't stay.
