Hunter Pizzeria

Wanted to love it more. We have tried it twice and it just is not our favorite. Crust is pretty soft, hardly any sauce and just lots and lots of cheese. (Too much). Have tried it twice and just doesn't do anything for us.

Went here for lunch with my hubby. We were greeted with a friendly hello by the owner when we arrived. Our server took our drink order (Fountain Coke or Pepsi $1.95) while we perused the menu. We ordered a large 15" deluxe pizza ($18.50) & a side of fries ($1.75). Our food arrived in less than 20 minutes. The pizza was good but I was disappointed that there were canned mushrooms on the pizza instead of fresh. The service here is very friendly. They make you feel like family. My hubby loved the food (he liked the canned mushrooms) & definitely wants to return. They have a lot of variety on their menu & I'd like to try some of their sandwiches.

What a cute little non chain store. Pizza was fantastic. Very good value and supporting local people. The folks as you walk in treat you like family. Felt like a 'Cheers' moment! Walked in, they state hello and then without hesitation state, 'you must be Dean!?' What more can I say? #SupportLocal

This place has bluegrass music on Monday nights. We really enjoy going here and listening to music. I've tried the pizza and lasagna--they both are good. Their salads are really good as well. They do serve bottled beer and also have two liter bottles of soda available as well as fountain drinks. They don't have diet Dr Pepper though--if they did it would be perfect. We usually have a lady named Lindsey as our waitress-- she's always been fantastic! If every other waitress in ANY restaurant was one half as good as Lindsey, they would still probably be the best in their establishment. If I ran a restaurant I'd try to steal that lady.

First off they shouldn't be letting children answer the phone when they don't know how to take an order and it's completely messed up. I went get my order and the large chef salad I ordered with ham didn't feel heavy so I opened the box and there was about a handful of Lettuce and some Sliced eggs and that was it. I advised that the salad was supposed to be a chef salad with ham so they just added a few more things to it but it still isn't what they used to serve and they charge yiu $9.50 which is completely overpriced. There was another child laying in a booth at the front. Definitely not a place I'd go back to as it's not what it used to, that is for sure.

The pizza was inedible and they still charged. We used to go all the time never again this is the 2nd awful trip since the new ownersThere was no service. We had to go find someone to wait on us then people that came after us got there food we sat waiting. Always great! Staff is great. Pizza has generous amounts of ingredients and fresh crust. We've never had a bad pizza here. PLUS, love supporting a local small business.

Cassano's Deluxe pizza has been my favorite for years...until yesterday day!! The Deluxe here is much better. Thicker crust (while still crispy on the bottom), more substantial toppings. We just moved back to the area a year ago and just discovered this hidden gem...we'll definitely order again!! The only thing that would make it better would be a delivery option.
