Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Englewood

Great food. I had the chicken wrap and it was pretty tasty. The service was good and fast. I will return to try more items on the menu.

I've eaten here a ton. Great food and it's always fresh. The employees are pretty rude though. If the food ever goes down hill, the customer service won't keep me coming back, that's for sure.

Been meaning to try this place. Have heard good things about it. It raves about only serving the best 3% of the chicken..: I must say.... This chicken was BOMB! I'm sad we don't have this in the city I live because wow! The chicken is perfect, doesn't need sauce, flavor is great! Also the fries have a Cajun like dusting and also bomb! Loved the little garlic toast as well... this spot is great! Prices are similar to Canes. You order yourselves and sit down and they will bring your food to you. Very fast food vibe inside but the chicken is definitely a step up from traditional fast food.

What a nice surprise! Found Huey Magoo's on Yelp as we were traveling. It exceeded the rating. Meaty portions of chicken were hot, fresh, and tasty. They were still doing a steady business at 8:30pm. Restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Huey sauce was OK, something different. Garlic Parmesan sauce was really good on grilled chicken. Cole slaw was nondescript but we didn't go there for slaw. Will definitely return when in the area!

Meh. This food was just marginal. Although, they were busy! We ordered three grilled tenders. They were so small! The fries were gushy. The only thing I really liked was the bread. I wouldn't go back. There are better places to get chicken!

I went to the new Huey Magoo's in Englewood a couple of nights ago. I heard that they've been really busy, so I went kind of late, after 9pm. Even at that time I still had a short wait, as there were four or five other people just ordering. I know a lot of people think that all of these chicken places are the same, but to me, they all have their own claim to fame. This one is no exception. Huey Magoo's chicken is seasoned. They have the option of breaded or grilled tenders. Their fries are seasoned. I found the Texas toast to be thinner than other places, but good, with a good garlic flavor. Their signature sauce was bland to me. Kind of like a ranch with some extra flavor added, but not much. I couldn't quite figure out what they were trying to accomplish with that sauce. They do have other sauces that you can get as well. They have a LOT to choose from! They have basic chicken finger meals, sandwiches, wraps, salads, choice of side and cookies. They have kids meals, individual meals and family meals.My only complaint is that it was LOUD. They had country music blaring. There were lots of employees, I'm sure to keep the place the staffed during their grand opening rush, but because it was slowing down, lots of them were grouped together and talking. I couldn't hear a word the cashier said. I had to ask her to repeat everything she was saying, and even then, I'm pretty sure I misheard her based on the weird looks that I got. The noise was my only "complaint" of sorts. I will absolutely be going back to try some of their other menu items!

Yeah, this place is fire. I go here all of the time. They are an Englewood gem. They somehow keep a uniqueness to their taste even though there are other restaurants that have strait up the exact same menu as them, such as zaxby's and raising canes. I would say you always get consistent very good chicken tenders here every time. They spice them just right to give you a good flavor. Their fries are good and complement the chicken as well. The workers are always very polite, nice and in a good mood. I normally am not one to care too much about the atmosphere especially if it's not a boojie pay more money sit down restaurant but one thing that I think is great about this place is that they have a glass pull up garage door on the front wall of the building. It is super nice for a good outside day. They also have outside patio lights that add to it very well.

This is our go to place to feed everyone for game nights. I will never turn down a tender from Huey Magoos. While it is good, I stop there because the toast is always lacking and while the fries are spiced which I appreciate, they are typically a bit soggy. It is reliable and they have family specials to feed a lot of people but is nothing outstanding.

Friendly girl at the counter gave me a paper menu because I couldn't read the menu board. I got the Magoo wrap and it didn't disappoint. The vibe is Kinda like Canes but better chicken. The sauce isn't as good as Canes Sauce but the chicken is WAY better and not overly greasy. We will be back.
