Hook Fish & Chicken

Amazing customer service. This is a regular spot for me and my family to go to. We order the chicken Philly and ask to make it spicy which is when they add jalapeños and shatta sauce (a spicy middle eastern sauce). The fries are perfect along with their cajun seasoning.

Recently ordered the chicken Philly and it was pretty good. The flavors were good with a nice amount of cheese, but the fries were definitely the downfall. They were pretty dry and flavorless. Would have preferred just the sandwich, which was also pretty big in size. Would recommend getting a sandwich but skipping the fries.

FIVE STARS I live in Miami, FL and have been wanting to try Hook for months but they're usually in seedy areas of town...so when I happened to be visiting West Chester and saw they have a location here, I had to give it a try! I was very impressed with how quickly my food was ready (less than 10 mins). The employee was so friendly too and even threw in some freebies! Food was fresh, steaming hot, and delicious! I could tell they used fresh oil and didn't oversalt which I like. They also let you add the lemon pepper yourself so you can control how seasoned it is. Great place for lunch, I got the gyro and fries!They have 11 lunch specials for only $7.99!Just go past all the other chain restaurants and go here to get delicious food at a better price. The gyro is stuffffffffed with meat, it could rally feed two. Loved their tzatziki, next time I might ask for some to dip my fries in.Fries, yummy, don't forget to get a sprinkle of lemon pepper or Cajun spice, by the register. Fast and friendly folks, they bring the order to you if you dine in, which means your just going back to the register for some seasoning for your fries.

For the price this food is great! The wings, philly steak, and sandwiches are high quality and well made. No complaints here!

Ok for late night sandwiches. Burgers are good and so is gyro meat. They cook everything when you order so it is fresh.

I'm a Hooks fan bit was sad when the Woodlawn location sucked at COVID precautions. I can now visit the West Chester location which is on point with precautions and neat and clean! Love the fact this location has turkey burgers, chicken phillies, falafel and halal menu to serve the large population of my diverse neighbors here. They deliver! Tip: wings are .75 DAILY!!

I thought that I would give this place a try today since I have never been here. Let's start with the guy at the cash register on his cell, (which didn't sound like he was taking an order) chit chatting and ignoring customers. Not friendly at all with zero personality may I add. Once I could order I did and he went on to stick his face into his cell while I waited. Upon getting my order I had to ask for my drink cup and the soda machine was out of Diet Coke. I told him and he didn't seem to care much to replace it he just said grab a can. So far not a fan and I haven't even tried the food. How about one star just in case the food is good.

First time visit and not impressed. I ordered 2 pc tilapia and fries. Fish batter was poorly seasoned (even lacked salt) Fries were great - plenty in a serving and well done. Husband ordered 3 piece catfish dinner with cole slaw and fries. His fries were great as well and slaw was delicious too. The catfish was a different story. The filet itself was super thin so the 3 pieces of fried fish were more like fish jerky. Also very poorly seasoned. There were several tables inside to choose from but they were all dirty so we sat ourselves at the least dirty one. When we entered the restaurant we placed our order at a counter then about 20 minutes later we had to go back to counter to pick up order. Also fountain drink machine was down so only bottled and canned drinks were available.

The chicken tenders are super juicy and filling, i will definitely be ordering from here again.
