Hong Dragon

I've began eating at this place way back when it first opened over 10 years ago. To this day I can say it's the best Chinese restaurant I have ever had by far!! And trust me, I have been searching for it's equal since I moved from southeast Indiana. Bloomington, IN; Indianapolis,IN; Phoenix, AZ; Oahu, HI; Germany; Baltimore, MD... everywhere I've been, I've searched to find a similar tasting restaurant but to no avail! The lady owner is very nice, always greeting every customer with a genuine smile and "Hey! How are you?" When you receive your food, she would smile and say "Enjoy." They always know their customers and their orders which makes you feel very welcomed and appreciated! You get your food very quickly and it's fresh and steaming hot! Now the lady owner stays home most of the time to watch over her grandchildren but comes in occasionally, weekends I hear, to help. The younger workers who work now are still very friendly and carry on the legacy.At first it used to be cash only, but now they do accept credit card! So people can't complain about that anymore minor inconvenience, but I never had a problem with this before. I had no problem withdrawing cash just to eat here!The chicken and broccoli was my staple while in high school and the brown sauce is what set this restaurant apart from the rest. It's so flavorful! Their steamed dumplings are the best I've ever had and the dipping sauce, again, is so flavorful! I've had their Singapore Mei-fun which my mom loves and it also is very good with shrimp, chicken and pork. My eventual go to was a custom order: chicken with only snow peas and carrots with garlic sauce. This along with white rice and I devour the entire plate. I let that white rice soak up the delicious sauce. Again, the secret is in their sauces! Even after later visits, they knew me and would know my custom order every time I walked in before I even had to place my order! My dad has ordered the garlic chicken every single time. My friend orders the General Tso's every time, and my sister loves the beef and broccoli. My other sister loves it all! It's almost like everyone has a favorite and orders it every time, but it never gets old. Seriously this place is so good. Every time I visit family and friends in Indiana I MUST go here. There is a reason why this restaurant does so well in a town that finds businesses come and go. Trust me, if you like Chinese food, there is no better place to go than the Hong Dragon!P.S. Customers enjoy this place so much along with the superb service it's pretty much a standard that they leave tip just to help support this restaurant and keep it going!

Still great food since the family change over we all know what I'm talking about! But please go back to the old egg rolls they were the best ever... all family and friends all agree!

The food is amazing we always get the sesame chicken combos which is really yummy so is their egg drop soup, beef and broccoli, egg rolls and wontons. Really fast service when you place a to go service, I haven't dined in since they remolded so unsure about that but I bet it's fantastic.

We have the best Chinese restaurant in our small town. I've traveled to most of the 50 states and have not found a Chinese restaurant that has the same level of quality and flavor in any other risk or city.We might not have as much to offer as urban areas in our rural location, but we are blessed to have a fantastic choice for great local Chinese food!

Yup, it's true - there's incredible Chinese food in Versailles!! If you're looking for some original Asian cuisine and find yourself in Versailles, stop in and try their menu! My Dad and I had the Crab Rangoons, sweet and sour chicken (not pictured) and the General Tsao's chicken - ALL EXCELLENT! The food was prepared fresh and came out in under 10 minutes piping hot and DELICIOUS! Highly, highly recommended!!!

The best Chinese takeout, hands down. Pro tip: call ahead and order. They are always busy so if you don't call ahead you are bound to wait 20-25 min for your food. Amazing crab Rangoon, general tsos chicken, and lo mein. Can't rave enough about their food quality!!!! Sooooo yummm!!!

BEST crab ragoons in the area hands down. Fast service & good food. My only issue is they normally forgot the Fortune cookies but oh well. The Kung Pao, Chicken Lo Mein, General Tso's. All good, nice portions, and you won't be disappointed

This place was rated 4 1/2 stars so we went there tonight. I don't know what kind of MUSHY meat like substance they have in their eggrolls, but it is so disgusting. The outside of the egg roll was practically burnt. It was very well cooked, so there is no reason that the imitation meat or whatever that is should've been mushy. I could not eat it. Zero stars. We stopped eating Chinese food years ago for similar reasons. We will continue to look for something a lot more high-quality next time we want Chinese food. P.S. The general tso was sweet, not spicy.

Some of the best Chinese food around. It's always good and not too expensive. Would recommend to anyone new to the area.

Loved the food.. so happy to learn it was open!!! Great for pick up and go to enjoy wherever you want to eat at!!!
