I am so excited to be back here again! This is such a fun place. I'm still amazed that it is Kentucky! Well, to be honest It is not that stunning since there is so much German Heritage in the greater Cincinnati area. We came in around 5:00pm on a Sunday after going to a Cincinnati Pop's Concert at Music Hall. Side Note: If you ever have a chance to go to Music Hall, go it is an amazing venue! While the Bengals were were playing Kansas City in Kansas there were not many folks there to watch the game. We were seated quickly and our server was with us right away to answer questions about beer and food. There seasonal beer was the Octoberfest and it was great and not very "hoppy". I am usually a Dunkel drinker, but this bier was good with me!I decided on the traditional fried pork Schnitzel with fried cabbage and a potato cake. I ordered a little sour cream for my potato cake (yum). This cabbage is awesome, not cooked beyond recognition and with yummy salty bacon. The pork was perfectly cooked without too much breading. Those potato cakes were amazing. They had a great consistency and if I lived closer I would get those all the time! The live band was fun and not too loud.I don't know when I will get back, but I look forward to visiting again.

I ordered the Jägerschnitzel with fries and fried cabbage and had it delivered to the Hampton Inn. * The good: the cabbage was very good. * The bad: the fry order was very small and, as expected, cold upon arrival. * The ugly: the Jägerschnitzel. I have traveled extensively in Germany and had high hopes that the main entree would be as good as advertised. Unfortunately, it wasn't. It was clearly a pre-battered pork patty that was surprisingly small, dry and lacking flavor. The mushroom gravy (2 oz) was OK, but nothing special and was not enough to cover the Jägerschnitzel.Including delivery fees and tip, the meal cost $30. Very disappointing and I strongly do not recommend. They had once chance to "WOW" me but failed miserably. I won't give them a second chance to disappoint me.

Pretty neat place I must say! We don't have anything like this where I am from, San Diego California, so it was pretty neat! I am not a huge fan of German food but with that being said - I did enjoy what we ordered. My husband and I shared the Munich sampler and what I really enjoyed most were actually the sauerkraut, which I don't ever like, and the potato salad. Very good! Lastly we order the Bavarian cream puff and that thing was huge lol - very generous with the Bavarian cream. Overall it was a good experience, but not anything amazing. Our server could have been better because she took a long time to take our order and she seemed to be in a rush... Mind you it wasn't that busy.. But maybe they were understaffed, who knows. I would come back here.

The Hofbräuhaus is such a unique and cool place to visit. The atmosphere is sheer amazing! If you want to have a good time, try a Mass (1Liter) of beer, enjoy authentic German cuisine, dance to polka music then this is the place to be! We have been there several times and always! had a good time. The service is usually great as well and will greet you in a German style dirndle dress.

Always an amazing meal. Their German food recipes come straight from a grandmothers recipe box. The German potato salad is some of the most flavorful I've ever had. The mushroom gravy that comes with the pork is served hot and plentiful. The service is excellent and the servers are always happy. The band playing makes for a festive atmosphere and ambiance and feels like you are in Germany. They also offer a quiet room without the Germany music if you have folks with you that can't hear well or don't need the music. Which I found to be a very nice option

My daughter smashed the kids mac and cheese and fries, and I enjoyed the mettworst. My husband got the chicken cordon bleu and we shared the fried pickles which were tasty. It's always fun with the live music and dancing and service was really quick!

Following our Sunday tradition with my adult kids; church, lunch out, games, we stopped into the Hofbrauhaus to check one of the three boxes. You can tell from the pics that this place will put a smile on your face. Fresh, fast and attentive service. Step into another country and enjoy the food, sounds, and beer of Germany.Of all the food we ordered, everything was perfect. We were too full for dessert but had to order a cream puff and split it. Wonderful pastry and rich vanilla cream. Well worth the pain!

Hofbrauhaus is an experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere is buzzing and people are having a good time. The beer is flowing with a live band playing on stage. You can feel the energy when you walk in, and are immersed immediately. They also have an open air back patio which is spacious and provides plenty of seating. Our server was amazing and attentive despite the huge rush of diners on a weekend night. Food on the other hand..Food was really hit or miss for us. The pretzel combo was an amazing start -- huge portion with three delicious dipping sauces (two different cheeses and one mustard). We had the Munich sampler which was just okay. The portion sizes were generous, but felt pretty sloppy on the plate. The sauerkraut was good, but pretty much overtook the dish. The wurst and potato salad were under seasoned. Fish sandwich was unfortunately dry despite the large portion size. Fries were good. For dessert, we had the tiramisu cream puff which we were told is a new menu item. The cream puff itself was light and fluffy. However, the cream inside was really dense and overly sweet -- difficult to swallow, had to take smaller bites. All the beer we tried were refreshing, crisp, and delicious. This is a great spot to bring a big group of friends or family to enjoy the night. They have room to improve with the food, currently a 3/5 in my book. But if you enjoy beer and a lively atmosphere, Hofbrauhaus is the place to go.

I wanted something different for dinner and really enjoyed a hearty meal and great entertainment at this place. The potato soup to start was perfect. The Munich Sampler was a great choice, as I was able to enjoy a variety of German staples. Service from the waitstaff and kitchen was quick, even though the place was packed. The traditional German beer hall and live band provided a fun experience. It was great to see the locals enjoy themselves.

Food is ok, but seating is good for bigger parties. 2 stars down for money grabbing at the parking lot. 5 bucks to park then spend money on lunch.... Not sure how long they been charging for parking but it's a junk fee.
