I'm seeing mixed reviews for this place but I had an awesome experience. I would go check it out for yourself if you are skeptical. Came in here on a Friday afternoon, pretty dead inside (to be expected at 3pm on a weekday) but it started to pickup after the work crowd started to clock out. Good beer selection and insanely cheap drafts/pitchers! They had a good selection of appetizer we munched on hanging out. Spinach dip & fried mushrooms. I don't know what the mushrooms are filled with but they are basically crack. I wish I had two orders. Fried to a crisp and a cream cheese something inside made them so desireable. If you order nothing else here get those mushrooms. And then send me some while you're there. Was able to chat with the owner and ask a bit more about the hotel itself. It has 12 rooms, all of which have not been used in about 10+ years. They are slowly in the process of renovating all of them so that they can have these able to be rented out again. I would love to come back and stay when they are completed!

It's ok. Just ok I guess. Which is so so, super sad. Look at the potential of this gorgeous property. It's a amazing. A place like this could revitalize the area. Drinks were ok; nothing amazing. I'm reading my review and it sounds so 'meh.' Fitting.

My parents would go to the Broadway in the sixties and there was a kids room where we would play while they went yo the bar. I came back to stay as an adult and all the staff left and locked us in the hotel except there was people running up and down the hall all night. We had to climb out a window to leave in the morning as we was locked in, we were the only people staying there thru the night.....it's haunted. There wasn't anybody else there but we heard people in the hall all night screaming. I worked right around the corner at A1 pizza for Ralph Caine in the 70s and I lived on 4th street. You couldn't pay me to stay there again.

We stopped in here on a Saturday night the place was empty. My parents talked about how great this place was. Our waitress was nice but after finding out they couldn't serve alcohol we opted to just pay for our drinks and leave. Super cool inside including a cool bar, but no drinks aloud.

Checked website today before driving an hour plus and site noted open hours and menu. Upon arrival we found sign on door, closed for remodel. We stopped by in April and same sign posted. The owner/management should update the website as closed. Have always enjoyed my prior visits when Broadway was open and hope it returns to operation soon.

After a long day of hiking at Clifty Falls state park, we were ready for drinks and burgers. I ordered the Bootlegger, a double patty higher that comes with everything including a fried green tomato, onion ring and pickle chips. The burger was amazing!! I couldn't finish it but I wish I could have because it was yummy. Sitting outside, listening to live music in a Friday evening... perfect.

When I saw this old HISTORICAL HOTEL I had to have an excuse to go inside...we had already eaten a spot of lunch...but I told my fellow travelers...come on...we will share an appetizer and grab a drink and then I can wonder around and enjoy...The hotel was built in 1834, it is 180yrs old...can you believe it..???It is gorgeous. The actual upstairs is closed right now..but the interior is very nice...We were seated at the bar room in a deep booth towards the back. We opted to share 6 hot wings (.50 each special), a serving of their Hot Artichoke Spinach dip served with slices of warm french baguettes..Noel and I both chose sweet tea with lemon and limes and Tony went for $1.25 draft special of Bud Light Draft..our entire check was $14.09 with taxes...our waitress was so sweet...so I left a $20...she was so appreciative..and so sweet..The hotel is very nice and for bar food...it was really good food. We enjoyed it quite a bit and would definitely eat here again...I highly recommend you check this restaurant bar out if you are in the area..On their website it states this is the OLDEST HOTEL and BAR in the entire state of Indiana..located two blocks back from the Ohio River...check them out!!!!
