Hinders Sports Bar & Grill

Once again, know and love this place since 1993. Still love the food and service. Ambiance is what you would expect and jive with. Tommy want wingy... BUTT WARMERS!!

Never judge a book by the cover. If you pulled up to this place you would say "I don't know if I'm going to go in there?". I say do it! This is a definite locals secret, and I'm sure they'd like to keep it that way because the food is good the beer is cold and the staff is friendly and efficient. I had the Ruben, it was a great ratio of meat to sauerkraut, and they use real Swiss on good bread. The directions will throw you off a little bit because they'll have you go to the back, but that's where everybody parks. Because if you come in the front you're surprised when half the tables are full. They do a great happy hour, you can tell by the sign that says no carryouts between.. that is the sign that the owner cares about the customer and not just about the money. Good job.

We've given this place more than a few chances, but the past few times have not been impressed. Especially with the speed of service, or lack there of. We waited and waited for our food. We had a party of 7 and not a complicated order. Once the food came out, it was decent, which is why we came back, but after tonight we will probably not go back. To make it worse, the room temperature was freezing. We asked twice if we could turn the over head fan off or turn down the air. Literally everyone in the side room agreed it was freezing. It was also beyond noisy. I'm ok with normal bar noise and music, but it was stupid loud and the music was not kid friendly at all. Multiple f bombs were dropped in the songs that my kids pointed out. We also noticed after we got home, that we were charged for a beer that was never given to us. Overall not a pleasant visit to Hinders.

The food was really good though the bottom bun of my grilled chicken was kinda soggy. The waiter was good but the food took a while to get served but made sense because it's so busy

I was in town on business and wanted to eat where the locals do!!! This place was the best local sports bar I've ever been in!!! We asked our server Jen what were they known for and she said the wings with the Butt Warmer sauce And boy she was right!! Jenn was amazing and the wings were fantastic!!! Not sure when I'll get back "Butt" when I do I will definitely will stop here!!

Friend brought me here to try their chicken wings, claiming their 'buttwarmers' sauce was the best I'd ever try. - CHICKEN WINGS 5/5Oh man, these chicken wings are CRISPY on the outside and very JUICY on the inside!! They're actually VERY DELICIOUS. They're not too small either. - Buttwarmers Sauce 5/5These wings are on the tangier side. They're supposed to be sweet and spicy? Sweeter than spicier. They're pretty good. - Asskickers Sauce 1/5This sauce tastes like a Buttered Buffalo sauce with LOTS of salt. It's VERY salty. VERY VERY salty. - Mozzarella sticks 5/5Standard mozzarella sticks with a side of marinara sauce. Comes with 4 pieces. Cheese pull!! The service is friendly.. the lady working would talk in a regular face not smiling then at the end smile big. It was kind of weird. Parking is free, place is small. Noone where's masks in Ohio.....

Hinders is a sports bar located in Tipp City, just north of Dayton. It's a typical dive bar serving wings, burgers, brews, and more! These wings are some of my favorite ever! The sauces are so delicious and have hilarious names. The butt warmer wings are my favorite! The sauce is sweet with a bit of a kick to it. I'm not exactly sure what it is but I've never had a sauce like it anywhere else! My husband and I love to split a side of fries with cheese sauce to go along with our wings. I look forward to it every time I visit my husbands family in Tipp City. The restaurant itself is large and has a small outdoor patio behind it. There's a regular seating area and a bar area. Usually our group is too big to sit at the bar but I love to sit there when I can. They have TVs all around the bar/restaurant and the staff is really great about turning the channel to the game you'd like to watch. I've had so many great experiences here and look forward to the next time I can get some butt warmers! :)

The Local Dive Bar! Nice spot to grab good bar food and beers. Food came out of the kitchen quick. I'll give the wings an 7.2 what they lacked in crispiness was made up in meat. These were meaty flats and drums the largest I've seen. The sauce was more of a glaze. Their wing sauce was lacking with only 4 options. The home made Butt Warmer was sweet and tangy. The meatiness was right for the price. Also had an order of mozzarella sticks that were cooked just right.The locals spot to chill friendly staff who answered any and all questions. Good conversation between all at the bar with different with sporting events on all the TVs.

I've been to Hinders several times and it's on okay place, nothing special. Last week I waited over 60 minutes for my chicken wings to arrive and 20 minutes to get a beer. It's not worth the wait.
