We should have expected the long wait. Sunday morning. Bourbon and Beyond Music festival. A packed restaurant. But the 40 minute wait was worth every second. Our group of 10 was easily served by Brandie. Orders came out together, hot and without any mistakes. That's quite a tribute to both the wait staff and the kitchen. Every dish was done right. The eggs were moist. The bacon crisp. The breakfast potatoes done right. And pricing more than fair. If you're a fan of breakfast joints, Highland Morning will beat the better known stops.

I have been to the other Highland Morning location in the past so I did not expect to have a different experience food wise at this location. Our server was good, took care of our requests, so no complaints there. My only issues with this place is that a side French toast is $4.99 and then it is once slice. When the slice is brought out, look how sad, lonely, and disappointing it is. Despite my poor little french toast story, I ordered the Biscuit and Gravy Omelet. The is a combination of most of my breakfast staple food. Executed well, this was a filling omelet that I will be having again. I feel like there are other breakfast places where you get a bang for your buck and better flavors, so Highland Morning will remain closer to the bottom of the list.

Coffee was worst I've had- ever. I've had stronger and better instant coffee. Literally tasted like dish water. Only eclipsed by the month old (stale) biscuit tossed into my biscuit and gravy omelette. Music was so loud (at 8am), we had to move into another room to hear ourselves think. Ambience was like that of a dive bar, but dirtier.Do not go here unless you have no other options.

So many choices made it hard to decide what to get . Absolutely delicious. Service was top notch and friendly. It's a quaint little place. Decorated for the holidays so it was very charming . Definitely a must visit restaurant.

My all-time favorite pancake in the world. Is this delicious and decadent key lime pie pancake from highland mornings. It's fluffy, light, buttery. I definitely recommend all of their breakfast offerings.

Great local spot for breakfast with fast and friendly service. The portions were comfortably large and the food was very well done. We saw lots of locals having breakfast here which is always a great sign. We will visit again when we are in Louisville.

No more seats available so we'll take it! 10:30 waters delivered.10:40 food delivered!10:52 Server was ahead of the game, noticed we had just about finished and offered to bring the check.10:56 paid!Food was good. Ordered B&G and it had decent flavor. Two poached medium eggs, but one was medium and one was just beyond that. Our server, Amy, was great!

Took some out of town guests here for a late breakfast. Cute diner vibe, small and cozy restaurant. Food was very good and what I liked best is the servings were a normal size not the huge, expensive mountains of food most places now serve. I had four pecan waffles and the size was just right, fresh and tasty. Servers were pleasant and the place was clean. Lost a star because the coffee was luke warm, no matter how many times my cup was topped off the coffee was not hot.
