Hickory Inn

Great food. Great service. Cozy ambiance. We love the steaks and the pizza at The Hickory!

First let me say that our server and other staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's been many years since I've come to Hickory Inn for some pizza and it didn't disappoint. We got a pepperoni, mushroom, and green olive and it was delicious, especially with the whole wheat crust. I came with my siblings and it was quiet enough that we could have conversation, share family pictures, and family stories. I also got a house salad and the ingredients were fresh just not enough of them but then again that left room for more pizza! I grew up here but live on the west coast now and try to visit the Inn whenever I am back for a few days. This is a place you'll either want to try or visit again if it's been a while. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Many, many years ago, my husband obtained employment in Ohio. Specifically, Springfield, Ohio. We lived there for 10 years, truly living in the Mid-West of America. Great, humble people. Made great friends but eventually my husband was promoted, and we left Ohio, very sad to go. But we have fond memories of our time and friends there, and recently we returned, after 20 years, to attend a friend's funeral. While living there, one of our favorite restaurants was Hickory Inn. While there we returned and it was like stepping into a time warp. It hasn't changed much. Made me very nostalgic. Food was pretty much the same. They have a varied menu, but are best known for their pizza. This is not fine dining, but solid, good food in a semi-dive bar setting. I enjoyed returning.

Prime rib night and Wow was it good...One of my favorite places to go when I am in town.If you have not tried the Mahi with Cancun spice you are missing out

Best steak in town. Hard to get in on weekends. But worth the wait! Their pizza is really good, too. Great old fashioned service, great!

Hickory Inn has been serving delicious meals for decades. We like to stop in for their pizza, but their menu provides for numerous options. Staff are friendly, the restaurant is busy and seating fills up quickly. It is a cozy dining experience.

Hickory Inn has been a classic for so many years. I remember always choosing this restaurant for my birthdays growing up. I am a sucker for the White Italian pizza!! Great little hidden gem in Springfield.

Local joint with good food, good service, friendly waitstaff, and reasonable prices. Would come back next time we're in the area.

Pizza was a 3/10, soaked in grease and tasted like a sponge. 80 dollars for some apps and a pizza

We hadn't been in a while. The flounder dinner was awesome. My wife got the filet, and it too was excellent!
