Hello Honey

Visited on a Saturday, it was quiet. I'd never heard of this brand so I figured I'd try it! I was looking for coffee, but was told they didn't sell it. Went for a tea instead. There was a little mix up which was corrected. Ordered matcha and received mint, swapped it out for traditional chai. (I don't love minty things). Cute space, the cookie desserts looked very good- wish there was glass to view the ice cream flavors.

It pains me to leave this review but the Ft Thomas location is just a sad shell of what Hello Honey should be. The first issue is that the shop has been closed during advertised business hours 3 out of the last 5 times I've tried to stop by. When they are open the shop doesn't feel particularly inviting as there's usually only one person working who clearly doesn't want to be bothered. All locations share an Instagram where they advertise flavors but this location usually doesn't have them. One of the highlights of Hello Honey are the fresh waffle cones but nah-nah! Not here. Sometimes they are pre-made but when they do make one on the spot they tend to rush it and undercook it. The waffle maker was apparently broken the last time I stopped by so they picked up a replacement from a local store and it took a while. The employee was clearly annoyed but continued with it and handed me a disaster of a cone that required a cup just to salvage the ice cream. It didn't help that he rushed to put the scoop into the scorching hot, undercooked cone.If you're in Ft Thomas and want ice cream I'd suggest skipping this place and going to The Parlor or Graeter's.

HELLO FT. THOMAS! Hello Honey has finally made its way over the river! This place is awesome. There are plenty of options to choose from for the entire family. They have a HUGE selection of cakes to choose from as well. I had the chocolate fudge brownie single scoop with a piece of a waffle cone and it was very creamy and delicious. Haley was working tonight and was so friendly! Looking forward to our next visit.

What a cute place! It's super conveniently located right in downtown Fort Thomas, has plenty of seating (mostly indoor, but some outdoor), a very charming interior, and -- most importantly -- delicious ice cream. We consider ourselves somewhat of ice cream snobs, and this place definitely met our standards. There were also fun arcade games in the back which was a fun touch! In addition to ice cream, they also have cakes, so I'm definitely interested to try those. 10/10! I'll be back (maybe too often...)

Oh my goodness... the decadence. I have been on a few different occasions. One time the waffle cone was made while I was there and it was warm and flaky and tasted incredible. The ice cream flavors are unique and their special desserts are soooooo good. I have had a piece of cake and I was underwhelmed, but everything else was awesome. The service is great and there is enough seating inside. I love this place for dessert!

The ice cream parlor is cute & small. The flavors are great with a rotating menu. The staff are super friendly as well!
