The ice cream tasted amazing and they serve flavors that you normally can't find at bigger ice cream stores. I love this because it made me be adventurous and try something new! Even though only one person was working, we didn't have too wait long for service, but waited a little while for our order but was worth the wait. There were quite a few tables and it was warm enough to walk through the park next to the shop. I would recommend trying the ice cream here.

Really enjoyed this ice cream! The texture is nice albeit a little sticky on the roof of my mouth (maybe high fat content/not fully emulsified?). I generally prefer sticky to icy though. The flavors are all unique but in a classic way - like cookie dough but several types of dough, etc. I wish we had arrived in time to try some of their more popular flavors but they had sold out by the end of the night. It was not the best ice cream I've had this year, but I will return the next time I'm in Cincinnati!

I love to try local ice cream shops when I visit places, and this was by where we were staying, so naturally I had to check it out. Walking in I kinda had a feeling like I should walk back out because it didn't exactly have an ice cream shop vibe. And the place was totally dead on a weekend during prime dessert time. Really should've trusted my gut. As we approached the counter, we noticed there were bookshelves with random things for sale like instant ramen, jam, vegan jerky, and stuffed animals. Weird!!! We sampled a few flavors and ordered some ice cream. I got the banana honeycomb and brown butter caramel, and my hubby got the brown butter caramel. We sat at one of the uncomfortably low loveseats and started to eat the ice cream. The banana honeycomb had a great flavor, but after a few bites, I was already getting a layer of butterfat stuck to the roof of my mouth. That was terrible. Hard to get past the greasy mouthfeel. So I decided to try the brown butter caramel...it really did taste like brown butter. But omg the butterfat continued to accumulate in my mouth! Like imagine having a thick greasy layer of butterfat in your mouth you can't get rid of. I stopped eating it and ended up throwing most of it away. My hubby threw most of his away too. As we walked back to our hotel, we both started feeling sick. Like so bad that we were taking notice of the garbage cans on our walk, because one or both of us may have to throw up in one. Well, we both spent what was supposed to be a nice evening celebrating our anniversary, praying to the porcelain god instead. I will not want ice cream for a very long time after this experience.

They're known for their marshmallows (made in-house and served a la flambé). I think this particular aspect of the experience fell off the wagon, because I thought they were *just* good - kinda under-toasted, more tough than melty. I ordered chai, but received some sort of lemony flavor. It was still quite good.In reality they have many gluten free options, but you have to ask for a "secret list." IMHO they could really improve the experience by listing the information publicly.

Yummmy! Hello Honey's ice cream is creamy and full of flavor. I got the B Day Dough with a toasted marshmallow on top. The marshmallow was delicious. It tasted like a homemade marshmallow, the consistency was completely different than one from a bag. The B Day Dough tasted like cake with a small amount of sprinkles and chunks of sugar cookie dough. So delicious!! If you're in downtown Cincinnati I highly recommend stopping by!

A very quiet ice cream parlor that is just minutes away from Izzy's. We tried the brownie cream, peanut butter crunch, and mint cookies and cream. I am uncertain if it is our choices, the flavors, or the way everything was put together. Overall, we thought the three flavors weren't distinctively different from each other. Everything kind of blended together.

I used to frequent this location often because it's a nice walk from my place and I love the Honey Vanilla and waffle cones. The past few times I visited, the ice cream left an oily film that stayed until I brushed my teeth. It has been a few months but cannot bring myself to go back to this location. During my last visit, I sampled the Charcoal Sesame. I commented that it was good but I probably wouldn't be able to finish an entire cup of it. The woman behind the counter looked disgusted and said, "Yeah. Because it tastes like licking a Chinese wok at a Chinese restaurant." Although I am Chinese American, I have never considered licking this frequently used piece of cookware. She was very passionate about it so I will keep her comment in mind.

If you want good ice cream and less than mediocre service, this is a good place. Visiting from out of town, we had some time before our show at the theater started, so we decided to get the family some ice cream! We walked in and the concrete floors were very sticky. It's an ice cream place. Things happen. There was no one in the store, so we were pretty excited to get our ice cream quick! We were greeted by the young person at the counter, and then another young person came from the back. As soon as we started our order, the first young person said to the other "ok you got this..." and just left. Went to the back. The second young person was so shocked, she left too, and then went to the back! We stood for another three or four minutes waiting and the second person finally reappeared. Our order was taken, and the young person that took our order disappeared to the back again! The ice cream is up front. Still not sure why they both kept going to the back. We finally received our ice cream, but I had to remind them what the last order was because they had forgotten even though they wrote down the order. The ice cream was good. It wasn't soft serve, but it wasn't frozen solid. The peanut butter crunch had a mild peanut butter flavor, the mint chip tasted just like Girl Scout cookies, and the blueberry cheesecake was great. The service wasn't great. Since we are out of towners, we will probably never be back.

Location is great to walk in and grab a cone. Every flavor on the menu sounded delicious. I ordered the biscoff and cookie, and a scoop of apple crisp on a waffle cone. Two scoops of icecream. My partner got a vanilla and chocolate flavor on waffle cone. The waffle cones are tall and skinny, and two full scoops of icecream were placed precariously on top. We received this cone, and asked for a cup, predicting that if the cone was not eaten with speed, melted icecream would drop off. We left the store, walked down about half a block. My cone completely broke apart, and I caught the two scoops in my free right hand. Structural integrity of cone for 2 scoops? 0/10Crunch and flavor of the cone when crunched on top of said icecream, placed in a bowl? 6/10

Stopped by here for some ice cream before the Cincinnati FC game. The shop was empty at the time. Plenty of seating. My son went with a scoop of banana honeycomb and blueberry cheesecake. Probably the best ice cream we've had in a while. Two scoops in a cone ran us $7.
