My fav wine bar in the city. Super approachable, but also feels upscale, and honestly feels like I am in a different city when I'm inside. The music is always fire and most importantly, the wine is always good. The staff always has great recommendations and keeps me comfortable trying new wines here. I need to come back and try the small bites, I saw them bringing some food out and it looked good!

I stopped in here because Braxton was closed and saw they had wine. As a self-proclaimed wino, I was intrigued by the concept of a European style wine bar. What I found was one of the most delectable and incredible wine bars with some of the best wine I have ever tasted. If money was not an option, I probably would have drank one of the entire selection. I got a chance to sit and chat with some of the regulars who said that the incredible service was just everyday for them - this place really is amazing. I went back again with a reservation and got an incredible seat and even better wine suggestions - I didn't even think that was possible! I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves wine, great service and a complete gem of a place in OTR that is off the main drag.

Not really for casual the wine consumer. I love a good Cabernet and this was not on the menu. The server was delightful and was able to suggest something similar. Just comparing to other wine bars/bottles shops, the variety wasn't really there for me with the glass offerings. They did have several different bottle only options, I'm never interested in getting an entire bottle when I'm out for wine so that did not appeal to me. If based on ambiance and vibe, I would give 5 stars, the place is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but not sure I'd return with so many wine options in Cincy now.

Kevin Hart, seasoned Sommelier has taken his passion for great wine and opened up a shop in the heart of the Pendleton neighborhood in Cincinnati where you feel like you're enjoying your friend's favorite wines right in their kitchen as you sit at the long table which makes up the heart of Hart & Cru's new storefront. This past Sunday I attended Sunday School curated class on Spanish wines, where there were only 14 of us learning from the best, Kevin and his team, Brittany and Peter what a wonderful time it was learning about 8 unique wine producers in Spain. They provided a detailed map with the cities and regions as well as a tasting booklet with the wines listed in order, key tasting notes, Spanish regional details and I'm ready to jet off to Spain to visit the wineries in person, so until then stop by Hart & Cru for an incredible worldly wine experience right in Cincinnati.

Stopped in on a whim before a dinner reservation elsewhere and so glad we did! The place was super busy and we did not have a reservation. The staff was very accommodating and made room so we could have a pre dinner drink. The staff was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and made a great recommendations on a wine I would have never tried. The inside is ADORABLE, cozy, and very clean. Definitely a new favorite spot.

Went to Hart & Cru with friends who felt sure we would really enjoy it and enjoy it we did. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about wines and pairings. It was so impressive! Even tried a new food there for the tasting called caper berries - so delicious which surprised me because I don't like capers. If you let capers grow full-sized, they would be a caper berry. It felt like we were invited to someone's home to try some of their favorite wines because it felt so comfortable and intimate with the size of the place and the warm reception. We could hear ourselves talk and just relax. What's even nicer is that nobody there seemed pretentious at all. We would definitely go back.

Great Customer Service! It's a cute intimate spots with a date or good girlfriends. Cheers to finding a really cute wine spot in OTR. We've been tasting some really good wines that are not sold at your local grocery stores or even your local restaurants. if you get an opportunity, this is a must see and taste, especially if you are a wine connoisseur

Fun and interesting vibe. Small and a little cramped. They have seating outside. Service was good . Very good selection of wines . Located near Braxton Brewery in the Pendleton area of downtown Cincinnati. So have heart, go check out the crew and enjoy yourself.

Great place to try different European wines. It is a pricey adventure but certainly one you can't experience without making an overseas trip! They have lovely accompaniments to go with the wine!
