Happy Days Tavern

For what it is, this place gets 5 stars from me. Having visited 10-15 dives in this area Happy Days truly was the most happy! The vibe of this place reminds me of a simpler time. The jukebox plays Lynyrd Skynyrd, and basically the entire Forrest Gump soundtrack. And unlike most of the bars in this area this place is bright with a ton of natural light. They keep the doors open so the air runs through the place.It is a very historical bar covered in knick knacks which is kind of fun to look at. They have a pool table and darts. And here's the kicker - they have $4 CRAFT DRAFTS! Yes, local brews on tap for $4. That's cheaper than the breweries! Other brewski's will run ya around $2 bucks. Every time the bf came back from the bar he had a sneaky grin on his face and he would mouth the words to me "Six Dollars! Cindy, Six. Dollars." Those moments of him will be forever burned in my mind. It was almost like he was getting away with something when in reality this place really is that cheap, they are not making a mistake on your bill. Oh, and although we didn't participate - their shot wall has some pretty insane shots on it if that's your thing. This is a place I would bookmark for a sunny afternoon.

We stopped in around noon on Thanksgiving day. It was one of a few places open in Mainstrass. To our surprise, they had a free turkey dinner buffet! The place was clean and the people were nice, especially the bartender, "Cheese"! We enjoyed talking with everyone and their drink prices weren't too expensive.The bar also has a pool table, TVs and a good sound system. We will definitely stop back!

Great bar! Major overhaul since the new owner took over, really looks great. Friday night karaoke is great, no huge queues so you can sing a lot of songs. Inexpensive beers with a good selection. Burgers & Brats during Bengals games. All the regulars are real friendly people. Peanuts, popcorn, & pretzels provided as bar food.
