Hammann's Catering, Butcher Shop & Deli

Super friendly staff, high quality everything in the store. It's absolutely not discount pricing, but it's worth it for the quality. I've never had them say no to any requests I've given them.

My husband recently had Hammann's cater a ConEd meeting where everyone seemed pleased with the box lunches Hammann's provided. We then chose Hammann's to cater our recent grad party. The food was delicious-fresh, generous portions and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend the drive to Fairfield and will continue to support their business. I'm addition, the staff are nice folks!

Hammann's is the best butcher I've been to. They have a huge selection of fresh cut meat, deli meat and cheese, frozen items, and more.The staff is always very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. If you have a question they will have an answer as they're experts. They will also have recommendations if you're not sure how to season it or cook it (I've not had the issue but I've overheard them giving tips).The meat is what you expect from a butcher: fresh and handled with care. As for the deli we have only used it once. We do love the frozen items such as the frozen steak patties. They're always delicious.Also, they do catering and actually catered my Moms wedding many many years back. The food was delicious and everyone seemed professional. She loved it and mentions it to them often (not sure now as I dont go with her here as much since I live 45 mins away).Overall a great place.

I haven't been there in a few years, not because of service or quality, but because my husband had ALS, and couldn't eat food but mouth any longer. But when we're shopping there, they were an awesome staff, friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of there food is top notch. My husband was the one who always knew what he wanted, and they did everything they could to find it if they didn't have it in stock. I just didn't have the heart to go back once he got too bad, and after he passed. I have been thinking it may be time to go back.

Excellent Butcher shop. Great, fast, and friendly service. They have a very large variety of items to choose from. If you like beer cheese, Hammann's is the best that I have eaten. Has a little kick to it. Great German Potato Salad as well. Steaks, Chicken, and Pork products are always fresh and outstanding in quality and taste. If you want to shop quickly, and yet very effectively, Hammann's is a great choice.

The meat here is, hands down, the best. We get our holiday meats here, turkey, roast etc. Also every day lunch meat, chicken breast etc.(You've never had better chicken than grilling their breasts!) They are friendly and helpful. Support local!

These guys and ladies are terrific at there jobs. We have bought meats from Hammann's for 20+ years without a complaint. We buy steaks and burger patties several dozen at a time to stock our home freezer, cut and wrapped to order. Deli sandwiches made to order and soups make for a great lunch. Their smoked meats are very popular items in the meat case as well as on the catering menu. Rob Hammann and his crew is tops.
