Gyro Palace

I did takeout at this establishment. I ordered the Greek-Style Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with onion rings. I also ordered a side of mozzarella cheese sticks.The Greek-Style Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, onion rings, and mozzarella cheese sticks were packed in styrofoam containers. The Tzatziki sauce for the sandwich and marinara sauce for the mozzarella cheese sticks were placed in plastic containers which were then placed in a small paper bag. Items were then placed in a big paper bag that was stapled together. Food was packed very well.The Greek-Style Philly Cheesesteak is basically gyro-style lamb meat but instead of placing it in pita bread it is put in a submarine-sandwich style roll with cheese on top. I picked provolone cheese. The sandwich was overflowing with a good amount of gyro meat, but the lettuce and tomatoes didn't seem very fresh. I did eat one half of it, and the meat was good, but if I ever order from here again, I would get the sandwich without the lettuce and tomatoes. The bread on the sandwich was pretty good though. The onion rings were a disappointment. They were soggy to me. Not much of a crunch and it didn't seem they were freshly cooked.The mozzarella cheese sticks were really good. Out of everything in my order, these seemed to be the best.Overall, I would not recommend. I liked the idea of gyro meat on a submarine sandwich bun, but the lettuce and tomatoes didn't seem fresh. Onion rings, likewise, were not very good. They were soggy and underwhelming.

Had the falafel wrapped pita and it was solid. Great flavor all around and not too messy. Had to go with the curly fries and they were as expected. Definitely will continue to go here.

Wow! I cant even count how many times I mustve driven by this generic strip mall over the years, missing out on all the amazing Greek food at this restaurant. I recently saw someone in a Dayton foodie group mention it so I stopped by to check it out. The inside of the place is HUGE. Something youd never realize from the outside. There are plenty of tables to accommodate even at busier times. The place is bright and very clean with lots of Mediterranean decor. The procedure is to order at the counter and then they will bring your food out to you. The staff at the counter was friendly and helpful.I ordered my fave Greek dish, Pastichio (look it up, its amazing). This version did not disappoint and the portion was generous. It came with a side Greek salad. It takes a lot for me to consider this to be done right but the dressing was great, plenty of feta, and actual Greek Olives. My friend got the loaded Gyro with no banana peppers and a side of fries. I sampled of course. The sandwich was HUGE with tons of meat and fresh toppings. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I might suggest asking for extra Tzatziki sauce to accommodate the size. For dessert was the baklava cheesecake. Something ive never found outside of upstate NY. I was so excited! It was made perfectly... the marriage of cheesecake and baklava together is divine. This place is a must try and my new go to when I am frequently in this area of the Dayton Mall!

This review is overdue because I've been coming here for my gyro fix for the past year. The gyro is consistently good, the service is friendly and the sides are always a must. The Greek salad is fresh, the rice is a hit-or-miss, fries is my usual go-to and the onion rings were something that I tried for the first time today and they were good. The hummus is fresh and delicious. The pita that goes with it is so warm and fluffy! Totally recommend.During this quarantine I'm glad they are doing curbside service and the takeout is made right when you order so the food quality is still as good as if you ate dine-in.

Lunch with my colleague, we got gyros and a salad. The gyros were delicious. Plenty of meat, some fresh sweet onion and sliced tomato on a warm pita (no pita for me, thanks). Salad was large and loaded with dressing, olives, cheese, cucumber and tomato. Delicious.Service was great too. A delightful and inexpensive quick lunch.[Review 11306 overall, 1083 of 2019.]

This place is clean, spacious and the staff were friendly. Coming to the food: Their French fires are amazing (5/5). But I was a bit disappointed by their 3 meat palace combo gyro. Their gyro meet is very good but the other meets were a bit chunky and chewy. I forgot to add some of their sauces.

Our usual gyro place isnt open today so we gave this a try. Wow we had driven by in a million times and never noticed it. I got the chicken gyro and my hubby got the lamb. i asked for light on the meat and heavy on the veg ... well they aren't used to that and when we come back I think i will say a veggie one with a LITTLE meat. my hubby has no meat issues and was fine with their heavy on the meat gyro.The are exceptionally helpful and friendly. I was curious what the Greek fries were and halfway through a our meal the guy brought us a complimentary portion of Greek fries for us to try. HOW AWESOME WAS THAT. Now im not a potato fan so fries aren't my thing .. but what awesome customer service. The staff are great and we will be back!

This place is fire! Visiting from out of town and love Mediterranean food so figured I'd give it a shot. Man I'm glad I did, hit the spot. Keep doing whatever you're doing!

We were traveling and wanted something that wasn't the typical fast food. Counter ordering but the food is brought out to you. Friendly service. Very fast but some the freshest Mediterranean that we have had. Freshly baked pita with the most tender and flavorful gyro meat I've ever tasted. Tasty tzatziki sauce. The Greek side salad was quite large with extremely fresh ingredients. We will keep it in mind for the future. What a little gem

Oh my goodness, so many good things to say about this place! 1. They have a variety of Mediterranean foods! Gyros, salads, etc! And if you aren't feeling Mediterranean they have mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fun appetizers! The service is amazing, they're incredibly fast, you go up to order, sit down, and within 5-10 minutes the food is here! The ambiance itself isn't bad, they have beautiful paintings hung upon the walls, and if I'm not mistaken some nice chill music! I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant! It's healthy and fast!
