Grippo Potato Chip Co

Grippo's literally has the best bbq chips ever! I have loved them my entire life. When family moves out of town, they crave them as well. It's one of their first stops when they return to visit. All of the chips are delicious. I especially appreciate the cheddar and original Grippo's seasoning popcorn-out of this world!

These are interesting types of chips. One of my coworkers is like an Ohio native and he brought these chips in for me to try. I had heard about them before, but never knew where to buy them vs. Lay's or any of the other major chip brands. They have just the right amount of spice depending on the flavor one gets. I had decided to order some online from this business and it is always consistent. In general, I think it is pretty cool that there are businesses like this that exist. Ale 8 for beverages and Grippo's for chips where they are not bought out by like Pepsico or someone. They are stand alones, but yet throw out good products. Just recently, I have tried their popcorn that I found. Suggestion would be to limit the amount of ingredients in these chips. There are a ton of preservative, lab created ingredients that would make these chips awful for one's health (more awful than just chips in general). Take one from Frito Lay where they have Sun Chips, chips made with sea salt, baked instead of fried, etc. If you're not bought out, might as well invest in making yourself unique and better quality.

I bought a box of grippo chips and there was a wadded up subway restaurant napkin in my bag! I called them on monday and was promised a call back on Tuesday, which never happened. Tomorrow I will be calling the board of health! Absolutely unacceptable, unsanitary, and plain disgusting!

I LOVE Grippos and knew I needed to may a detour here on my visit back to my hometown of Cincinnati. I stopped by this morning to pick up a few boxes of XHot Grippo Potato Chips and couldn't be more pleased. I like the XHot because it has extra hot seasoning on it which is sooooo good! The workers were helpful and even offered to carry my boxes to my car. If you're in Cincinnati, you have to try Grippo!

Best chips I ever had in my life. I am not one of those folks who has to have chips but I'd hide these and kill for a bag.....There is something special about Grippos. If I didn't know better I'd think they had crack or some other addictive substance hidden in the recipe because they are definitely memorable. My only gripe is that they no longer have a factory that you can actually tour. I think it would benefit the company being as though they are exclusive to the midwest and us tourists love them so much!

I haven't lived in Cinci for several years now, but I still think about Grippos bbq chips. They've gotta be my favorite of all time, and that's saying a lot. I mean, i'm not even a bbq chip guy. I'd reach for regular or salt n vinegar 100% of the time if the chip isn't a grippos. This company's got the absolute best recipe. I'm gonna have to order some to get my fix!

I am not originally from Cincinnati so since arriving here I have found I like some things but just cant get into others. One thing there is noooo question about, is that GRIPPO makes the best damn chip out there. I come from Western NY and thought Wise was the be all, end all of potato chip. Then I had Grippo, not only were they Grippo, they were the company store only location offering of the XL Hot and wow, they are sooo good.I even have an Army buddy who lives in upper Wisconsin drop me a request every year to send him a couple boxes of Grippo for the holidays, hence my visit here to review today. I have even started sending the big box of Grippos home to my family in NY. I am real fortunate to have the Grippo factory and company store in my workplace neighborhood and take advantage of the ability to get the XL hot. The staff at the office are always friendly and happy to see fans of Grippo chips come to the shop to pick them up.

Short version: I was promised over the phone when I placed the order for "Grippo's" chips that they would still be fresh by Christmas, and when my husband opened them on Christmas day they were putrid and rancid. I emailed asking for help and was told the order was my own fault because I didn't report the problem immediately. I explained that the order was placed as a Christmas present and had been under the tree and they still refused to issue a refund or replace the chips, even though I was willing to send back the product for exchange. When I called to speak to a live representative, there was one man I kept getting transferred to, and he was the rudest, most interruptive person I've ever spoken to. He would not let me talk, and hung up on me several times. I tried again by email and nobody responded. Not even a standard, customer-service courtesy "we're sorry you had a bad experience" after I had been lied to. Worst purchase experience of my life.

Iuse to live in pineville kentucky but moved to tenn.they do not sell grippos chips here ever now and then you can find them in stores i sometime go to kentucky to get them i growed up with grippos i guess i will dye eating them keep it up grippo
