Greens were alright, but offer little variety, I'd call this course a stepping stone for those new to the sport such as myself.I would actively deter new players from here though unless you can catch a slow time. I was playing in a group of three on a Friday around noon and we basically were rushed off the course by other golfers. We always consider other golfers abilities and speeds when we play as we know that we aren't the fastest golfers since we are newer, but we had to let 4 groups pass us because they just were relentlessly quick, we finished our 9 holes in 2 hours because we felt that WE were the problem. Which might be true, might not be, depends how you look at it, but regardless, the play here is FAST and will leave you feeling like the problem. The other golfers can be pretty rude as well. We teed off on an easy straight and short fairway and before we could even hit our balls on the fairway a group of older men pulled up and teed off right on top of us.Additionally, we had a group of two that was consistently waiting on us, which is fine, we were aware we were slow but we tried to be accommodating without ruining our fun as well, we stopped at the next tee box and told them to play ahead of us since they clearly were getting annoyed at waiting, instead of even giving us a pity "thanks" and then complaining about us as they drove away, they just hit us with "yeah." when we told them that it'd be fine for them to pass. Not the most encouraging thing...Overall though, despite the facilities being a little dated (though the clubhouse holds up and is pretty nice, thankfully there's a hospital next door because the drink prices will give you a heart attack. Almost $30 for 6 beers) the only problem is the other golfers, which isn't always going to be an issue and it's not the golf courses fault. The course was fun and gave us new players a chance to experience a little more difficulty than we usually experience, including dog legs and real water hazards but as I said earlier they kinda lack variety at times, arguably 4-6 is probably the highlight of the front 9. I would probably come back but either alone or with just a friend since the pace is too quick for its own good.

I have now played both nines. Old course with limited breaking greens. Its early in spring. Greens are slow. Small practice green and no driving range. Several holes have water. Nice family run business with restaurant and pro shop. Prices are reasonable.

It was great they were open during the pandemic. What wasn't great was them charging you extra if you want your own cart so you can social distance. Kind of price gouging. The course was a swamp due to recent storms not their fault. But, the cart path had huge holes in it, resulting in huge puddles, we could have swam in some of them. It's one of the most expensive courses I've played in a while, no idea why. When I left, my farts crested.

Worst Golf Experience Ever - Rude Staff and Unfair TreatmentIf you're looking for a relaxing day of golf, do yourself a favor and avoid Green Crest Golf Club at all costs. Our recent experience was ruined by the most condescending and overbearing ranger we've ever encountered--Bob, I'm looking at you.Despite playing at a solid pace of 15 minutes per hole, we were repeatedly harassed about holding up the groups behind us. Mind you, the groups in front of us were the real cause of any slowdown. But instead of managing the situation fairly, Bob decided to zero in on us. To make things worse, the group behind us was playing from the gold tees--so clearly, they had no business pushing anyone.By the time we finished the front 9, things took an even more ridiculous turn. Bob demanded we split up our group and insisted we play from different tees. At that point, the day was already ruined by his bossy, over-the-top attitude. The course itself is nothing special, and with treatment like this, the price to play here is ridiculous. Save yourself the frustration (and money)--there are plenty of other courses in the area where staff actually know how to treat customers. Green Crest? Never again.

Green Crest facilities are wonderful. They take care of the course extremely well and the pro shop and food/drinks are excellent. However, they pile in tee times every hour and always fall behind. If they took away 1 tee time every hour, I believe they would be the best around and worth the money to play there every day. No accountability for those who play extremely slow.

Staff is unfriendly. Poor customer service. All they care about is making money and that trumps any passion for golf they may have had a long time ago. Tee times are improperly spaced making it a 5-6 hour pace for 18Holes. Force players to be paired so they can prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. Way too many nicer courses in the area to deal with the many negatives to this course.

Enjoyed the course. Ladies tees were very generous. One par three on the front nine was very difficult. Could use better signage on some holes.

Course is a nice enough course. But they aren't that nice to women. They came up to us on the 2nd hole saying we need to pick up the pace because leagues were starting behind us. They didn't say anything to the men in front of us who held us up the entire round.

Very unprofessional employees, it started in the clubhouse checking in. We originally had booked for 14 for Saturday morning. That morning we had one couple where one got sick and the other ran into babysitter sitter issues and were not able to make. I believe his name was Doug when we were paying and let him know that we only had 10 that were able to make it his response was something along the lines of " Great you just cost us $200 dollars". Not something you say to a customer. We went and got our carts and the Starter lady was Awesome.... (She would get 5 Stars) very friendly and examples the rules very well and was understanding that we lost 4 the morning of. We had our 10 year old son that was with us and we were telling her we all play on playing best ball and she said that was great and if we were getting close to 15 minutes per hole to just place the ball in the fairway and shot from there to help keep on pace. The front 9 was great, no issues. The back 9 around hole 13 or 14 the Marshall guy came and told us (very rudely sad ) we were about 20 minutes behind. We didn't have anyone in front of us and again we were playing best ball and not holding anyone up. The group behind us was always just teeing off as we were finishing a hole and so was the group behind them on holes we could see them. We looked at our start time and where we and we were under 15 minutes a hole. We continued to play. On hole 15 the Marshall drove up to the tee box as we were approaching and was waiting there for us. Once we got done putting he again said we were behind and ask us to start playing from the yellow tees. There was no one on hole 15 at that time, the group behind us was still on 14. We ask him what us moving to the yellow tees was going to do to help speed things up behind us because we were not holding anyone up and the group a head of us was a hole ahead of us. It was a twosome. He was very rude and said we just needed to play from yellow. We tried to example to him we were not holding anyone up and didn't see it what us moving to yellow was going to do. He then said "How would we like it if he went around the golf course and told all the other golfers that it was our group that was holding everyone up. We told him that was fine and we were all so upset that we just skipped hole 16 and moved to 17. We then finished the 18 and waited for our friends in the group behind us that showed up 20-25 minutes later. We were really holding them up. After they finished we were all parked right by 18th hole and were talking about how rude the Marshall was and the group behind our last group was about 25-30 minutes coming to the tee box at 18. We talked to the clubhouse and they didn't seem to care. Our group will not be back to this course to play again.

Usually a decent trac but they had everyone so backed up you were waiting 10 minutes on every tee box. So annoying.
