Great Wall

They were closed. It happened to be on a day they are normally closed. I wanted Chinese, but had Arby's instead.

Food was excellent. Hunan chicken combination, eat in. Very flavorful as well. Fast service and friendly. Cleanliness of dinning area could be improved, nothing major.

This is one of the best Chinese places I have been to in the area. The food is delicious and always hot and fresh. I have never had a bad meal here... I highly recommend the General Tso's and their egg rolls!

With all of the great reviews for this place I was stunned just now with the crappy service. Not only was the wait time over what it should have been for a staple menus item ( General Tso's ), the personality of the young lady who was taking our order was borderline hateful. We had asked for the order to be made so we could eat in the resteraunt. But when our food arrived, it was packaged to go. Normally I would have just requested the change to the eat in version... but added with the rest of the issues I thought it would be better to just leave and NEVER return. Bad Job Great Wall.

For small town Chinese it is good. Nothing stands out as exceptional but if you want a hot meal to take home fast this is it. The veggies are cooked just right and they don't skimp on shrimp and meat in a dish. Not a welcoming place to eat in though. It's not too clean, usually cold and family (kids) are hanging out most of the time. Not overly friendly.

For a small town Chinese food take-out restaurant, I feel like they have gone above and beyond. A lot of the tastes can not be replicated. I can't tell you how many different Chinese places I have been to, especially since moving very far away from Urbana, just for me to compare it to home. I am in love with their crab ragoons and I have yet to eat any other place that compares. Every time I come home to visit, I always come here.

Took four adults for lunch. Three of the four entrees tasted either rancid or were turning bad. I don't know if the oil for the stir fry was rancid, or if the meat was turning bad, but it did not taste like fresh ingredients in the opinion of our group. We all left thinking we would not eat there again. I can't say if it is always this way or if it they just had a bad day, since none of us had eaten there before. But it was not a good experience.

TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICEshe hung the phone up and said she had to answer the other phone for other people while I was trying to make an order said I was taking too long to order when I was asking questions about the menu for my regarding my allergic reactions They couldn't even customize my order to my liking she said, had to buy a whole new meal in order to get tofu instead of just swaping it out for the chicken instead

ordered almond chicken. they put the sauce on the chicken instead of on the side. breading was so soggy because of it. the sauce was so salty that it was difficult to eat. there's an extra charge for fried rice. $2.50. it wasn't fried at all. all they did was add yellow food coloring, a little onion and what looks like small pieces of bokchoy. no flavoring at all just real salty. egg roll is just dripping with grease. i will never go back there. $16.95 wasted.
