The first thing you'll notice at Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is the environment of the shop. It's vibrant and fun. They have some funny items, some outrageous items, and some classics. The lady working when I was there was incredible. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. A great place for all ages and I'd recommend it to anyone. I think the $5 candy box is the best deal in the whole place. A large variety to choose from and a great selection. I would advise to not get the $15 mystery bag though. I got it and felt like it was not a great deal and I got a lot of stuff I didn't think was very good. Other than that I think this place is awesome and reminds me of a mini Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory.

We love Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop! It's such a fun place to explore. My kids love the $5 candy buffet and all the fun goodies that are in there. They have a decent amount of candy and it definitely seems to rotate based on time of the year. We usually can find a fun flavor of candy that we can't find anywhere else. My husband loves all the root beer options too. They are the only place he can find his favorite Root Beer in the area. Service is great and the ladies working are always kind. We love the new remodel. It's so fun and kid like. My son loves the sign you can put your face in our front too.

On the charming main drag of downtown Miamisburg is Grandpa Joe's. You'll find sweets galore in this little shop. Oldies but goodies that taste like childhood (Circus Peanuts, anyone?) along with novel treats from around the world, a jelly belly dispenser by flavor, and artisan chocolates. A favorite seems to be the $5 build your own box of candy. Whatever you can fit in the box, you can have for $5. Fun for kids of all ages. A word of advise- you may want a box of chocolatey candy and fruity or your gummy worms will taste a little chocolatey. But who is mad about 2 boxes of candy?

This is the best little candy store around! First right across the street from a movie theatre! I love it. ..you can buy candy from today's treats to the treats we had as little kids. Plus they have bottled drinks of all sorts. Tonight I walked to a display of dill pickle cotton candy. In the back is a variety mix where you fill a box for $5 of anything you want. Last but not least they play the movie Willy Wonka on the TV screen around the clock.

Visited this new candy shop in downtown Miamisburg today and it is AWESOME! By far the only candy store you'll ever need to visit. They have a $5 candy wall where you can fill a box for $5 with your choice of candy... there is everything from sour patch kids to andes mints to mary janes!They have an endless supply of nostalgic candy. I found TART N TINYS! The best candy from the 90s! They have tiny boxes of chiclets and vintage gum made with SUGAR! I was excited! They also have Royal Crown hard candies! I also had to pick up some Boyer Smoothies. They have an ENTIRE wall of pop bottles filled with everything from Mint Julep flavored to bacon flavored!You can also buy in bulk!

This was a very cute candy shop. I took my two boys and my two daughters while we were visiting the area and they loved it. I was a little disappointed that the old fashioned sign in many pictures and reviews located outside was no longer there and that the selection was all newer treats, I was expecting more hard to find candy from when I was a child. I was very intrigued to see the famous $5 candy buffet that is posted l over the internet but was disappointed to find out it was a tiny box that you can fill from a small section of the wall so if this is all you're coming for I'd pass on coming. The service was average, the staff were okay and seemed nice but nothing that set them apart from other shops.
