Grandma's II Restaurant

What hidden little gem! The service great and the ambience is traditional old school diner. The menu did not disappoint. Fresh food made right there and sourced locally. We will definitely be back!

My friend just moved into the area and we were looking up places to eat. Grandma's II Restaurant had popped up and looked like they had some good home-cooked feel meals. We were able to get seated right away and order food. I ordered their more traditional breakfast: with Eggs, Bacon, Toast, Homestyle Potatoes, and a Pancake. My friend ordered their breakfast their Double Pancakes, that comes with Egg and choice of meat. I love their open style kitchen to see everything that is going on and talk to the chef.Don't let the outside of the building fool you from coming in. This diner is quaint, charming, and a lot of TLC from the staff all the way down to the food. Kisses to the chef for the wonderful delicious meal as well! Many locals were coming in and out, so it's definitely a great hot spot for breakfast and lunch! I can't wait to go back again with my friend when visiting!

This was my first time at this restaurant for breakfast have heard good things, but I was completely and totally disappointed. There were so many mis steps, I can't comment on all of them. The food was food and my turkey sausage was undercooked. I am a big fan of potatoes and I couldn't eat any. The best thing was the coffee. I had French toast which was on white bread. My boyfriend enjoyed his pancakes and the service was good. This is why I gave at least 2 stars.

One of the friendliest establishments we have been in for a while. For our initial visit, we enjoyed selections from their breakfast menu. The food was prepared properly and portions were good. While the establishment is small in size, it was clean and well kept. The staff is Super Friendly and very helpful. We look forward to returning to try something from their lunch menu.

They were very sweet about it but make sure you call ahead A ton of people called off and they couldn't open the dining room We will try again another day!

Service took a while and it was pricier than you'd expect but food was fine. Fine for a basic breakfast.

Best breakfast that I have had in Dayton. Very loud and noisy. Very busy but great home style food. Clean and very good service. No ambiance, just good food. I really enjoyed the food and am already planning when I can get back here for the next meal.

Stopped in in our way to see some sites. Super friendly staff. Everyone that walked it seemed like they were visiting family or long time friends. Such a nice thing to see. You can tell it's a place loved by many frequent visitors. The service was excellent and the food was good. This is definitely an old restaurant by its old, unuqdated furnishings and faded restaurant sign but it was clean. Service and cleanliness are just as important as flavor so this place is a definite recommend for a quick breakfast stop.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was fantastic! Service was great, food was great and everyone was super friendly. My kids keep talking about what a great breakfast it was...couldn't agree more!
