Grammas Pizza

I order pizza on a Thursday night Bengals game, hoping to pop in really quick from work. When I walked in and told them my name, they immediately said, "I don't like the way your pizza turned out so we are going to make another one". This was very surprising to me. I thought that was awesome of them, and I walked out with both pizzas which were both delicious. They get an A++ for taking care of their customer.

I ordered two pizzas here one being a large pepperoni pizza with extra sauce and the second pizza being a medium deluxe.Honestly this pizza is just okay, it's really nothing special and it is what it is. I found it kind of weird that the pepperoni pizza wasn't sliced in triangles but in little squares and that the pepperoni was under the cheese versus on top. I prefer my pepperoni on top so that it can get cooked a bit more with a crisp. The deluxe pizza according to my husband and brother-in-law, it was good and very meaty. That pizza was cut normally. Overall their pizza is okay.

I absolutely love the Batavia store and when working in the area I go every time BUT the Withamsville store was beyond terrible. I even just joined Yelp to tell people to drive past this place and get a $5 Little Caesar's. The store itself is nice but the pizza is not. The food is not the same as Batavia. Completely different look and flavor. They are apparently rationing cheese I guess but this was not the same cheese anyway. The crust was newspaper thin and was rolled or folded at the edge creating a huge roll that left me with basically a medium pizza. This cost me $24 and it's worth it for great pizza not gas station pizza. Nobody would eat it especially me. I also order fried pickles. The Batavia store has fantastic pickles that are sliced chip type. But these pickles were longe wedges. How can the same chain have different food items. Sadly the extra ranch dip I ordered was forgotten from my order as well and no one wanted to eat them. I don't know about the other stores on the growing list but I promise I won't be finding out.

On the way to visit my son and his wife, we stopped at Gramma's. You see he loves Gramma's and we were picking up a carry out cheese pizza. Living in Clermont County, this small chain has always been present in most of the villages. Some pretty good, others not so. The Ohio Pike location has a reputation on the better side. Had a steak hoagy and side salad. Wife ordered a small pizza. The side salad was essentially a cheese salad. You know the type, lots of cheese, not much lettuce. Really not worth ordering. The steak hoagy was decent. Toasted bun, steak patty, pizza sauce, cheese and onions. The wife had her favorite sausage and onion pizza....which she enjoyed. A typical Gramma's experience.On positive side, with the omnipresent covid virus issue, the restaurant had been thoroughly cleaned that day with Lysol. Service was good. Parking was out front.Ok. Back for lunch. Had the steak hoagie and side salad as before. More lettuce than before on the salad. Food was good. The problem came when I was paying the tab. The young waitress attempted to ring me up at the register. She was struggling and looked for help from the guys in the kitchen. They then ripped on her with the quote, " this happens all the time". Ignoring me they continued the tirade. Frankly she was handling the whole busy room by herself. Don't really care to hear this. Or to be ignored while they did it. No thank you for your business. Too bad won't be back.

Pizza was ok. My son & I agreed it was definitely lacking sauce. We would have just asked for a side of marinara sauce to dip are pizza, but we didn't see our waitress again until time to pay the bill. Now I saw three other Grammas on my way back from the ball park. So it may have just been this location, because locals around here say it is very good. Always hot and delicious! Not just pizza, great calzones and hoagies as well!! Since my 5 year old got to order, picture is just cheese :) my favorite is pepperoni, onion, and banana pepper with a side salad! Servers are always super friendly!

We both got steak hoagies this time. Mine had lots o mushroom sauce, the cheese was melted & the onions were grilled. French fries were crispy and hot. Hubby said pizza hoagie was good too! They have Coke products.

Still the best pizza in town. Only wish they had more coupons for sales. Friendly staff. Great food.

We ordered the Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza with a side order of Garlic Bread. The Pizza was delicious but the Garlic bread was not . However the pizza came out fast and fresh. The restaurant was clean inside with a clear menu .

Best pizza you'll ever eat everything is fresh. Great service and hardworking staff. Love you guys.
