Goodwood Brewing Lexington

I was in Lexington yesterday and was at Goodwood for 2 business meetings. The staff at the bar area was great for our first meeting and the staff for our second larger meeting in the dining area were equally as good.We had a few drinks for our first meeting and the larger second meeting we had several appetizers. I tried the Bavarian pretzel, Buffalo Chicken Dip and chips, along with some of the bone in wings. Everything was very good.I would definitely go back and try some of the entrees.

8/17/24 An awesome dog friendly restaurant :-) My husband, our puppy, and I had a wonderful time at Goodwood. We were seated outside and were pleasantly surprised when the staff brought iced water for our pup, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We ordered six habanero mango spice wings with bleu cheese and ranch, along with a side salad that paired perfectly with the wings. I had the Goodwood burger with seasoned tots and ranch, and everything was 10/10 delicious and made to order. The staff was attentive and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, Goodwood offers fantastic food and excellent service in a dog-friendly atmosphere!

Absolutely love going to Goodwood. This week is Lexington burger week and we went to try out their special burger. Just not a fan of their burger this year. The Braveheart Beef Patty was covered up by their chili. Didn't taste any of the Goodwood BBQ Sauce. I wouldn't call the Louisville Lager Beer Cheese "beer cheese" it was more nacho cheese sauce. Great service and love the staff will be back just not during burger week. A huge thanks to our bartender Miranda P. She was super friendly and very helpful. Definitely love this place and will be back.

Pretty fun little space. Parking is limited in the front but there's other options nearby. The service was also great, our server kept checking in with us and if she didn't know about something, she'd check and then come back to us.Lots of beer options but the bourbon and cocktail list was also delicious. Great fries, and the tots are delicious too. I'll have to come back for the pretzel, that's apparently really popular with the beer cheese!

UK game night, everyplace was packed but we found seats at the bar here. They have a big selection of craft beers. We are lite beer and wine drinkers but found something. We ordered the pork tacos with a bowl of chili. The chili was good, the cornbread would have been better if warm. We then ordered the pretzel which was huge, could use more salt and definitely liked the beer cheese over the mustard.Drinks were flowing, tried the KY Sangria, pretty good but sour. Our bar neighbors had salmon and salad, looked very good.

My family is from Louisville but the Goodwood beer is well known to us and I was happy for the chance to eat dinner here. The space was fairly empty so it was no issue to grab a booth. I love amber ale and chose the O'Jerry's. We got the pretzel for starters. It was impressive being brought to the table but I doubt it had been freshly made, maybe heated up. They also give you a limited amount of cheese, which meant I didn't get any competing with 3 others. The big win was the chicken and waffles! Absolutely delicious and great to share. The server brought us a big dose of regular syrup and I was thankful because the promoted syrup was ... different. My son added a side salad and enjoyed it. I got the small strawberry kale salad. Loved the ingredients but it was warm, which was a major turnoff. I wouldn't recommend ordering it. The burgers felt complicated and another helpful tip from the server - my youngest got the kids burger with basic toppings and mayo, plus fries. My husband got 10 wings and tots. The wings weren't tossed in the sauce. It came on the side for dipping. Loved the server and all his tips. The space looks a bit dated and the paper menus were filthy. (Maybe toss those as needed)Private parking lot and near the Fayette Mall.

Food here's always incredible. Never had bad service. Love the atmosphere. Obviously an outstanding beer selection. Only heads up is that I'd maybe suggest a table over a booth if you're a Certified Big Boy as the booths are a little snug.

Buffalo Cauliflower! I'm not a vegetarian, vegan or anything like that. BUT I can sit at the bar here and have a whole appetizer of Buffalo Cauliflower as my meal, drink great beer and watch a game. The service is friendly and quick and my kids love their food too.

I really like this place. Their Fish and Chips are some of the best in Lexington. Slightly pricey but we always enjoy the food and the experience. Great place to watch a game too as it isn't overly crowded. You can also accrue points for money off future meals, which I appreciate. They provide the option to pay with your mobile phone, which I like as well.

Amazing all around,yum. Service was good no complaints. Band was outside on the patio and the inside was happening‼
