Love this place -located near Colerain on Blue Rock road. They have a drive through but also a roofed area to order food or ice cream treats. I used to drive past this place at least once a week. I always wondered if it was any good. Finally, one day I stopped by for a small vanilla soft serve cone. The ice cream was about what you would expect - smooth, soft, vanilla. The prices were fair and the menu had a decent number of things on it. What really blew me away and made me decide to write this review was the service. The young kid working there had such a positive attitude and was so friendly I was a little surprised. When I walked up to the window, no one came to it for a little longer than I expected. I wondered if I had to ring a bell or something and then he slid open the window. When there are tons of places to get ice cream, little things like friendly employees make a big difference.

Food: 5/5This was my first gold top of the season, and it's just as good as I remember. If you are looking for a great soft serve and other dessert treats at a great price, God Top is the place. I got a kiddy blueberry vanilla swirl in a cone, and my boyfriend got the banana pudding blizzard. I'm not from Cincy, so the blueberry soft serve flavor was new, but I'm a big fan. It's always a tremendously satisfying sweet treat, and they have so many options you could try something new whenever you want. Who doesn't love excellent ice cream? Service: 4/5Usually pretty polite and quick staff. They have a counter to order and one for pick up if you order outside. They also have a drive-up, but warning this can get super backed up when they are busy in the summer. Atmosphere: 4/5Seasonal spot with outdoor seating and spot to order. They added some covering, so now it has some wind protection. Sometimes, the tables can get sticky, but that will happen with kids and ice cream, part of the territory. Parking is available in front, behind, and on the side of the building.

The ice cream is great... the service is terrible. Be prepared the wait around 40 minutes to get your ice cream and have terrible customer service. They messed up my ice cream twice I just gave up on trying to get it fixed.

Love this place and the variety and quality. They have distancing and signs for masks, but several people were not wearing them and no one said anything which was disappointing. We chose the drive through for that reason. I just wish they would hire more people! The line is always so long and it takes forever to get through.

Good ice cream. Pineapple and kings island blue soft serve. Fast friendly service at walk up or drive through. Was a great evening so we chose drive through and they took our order "chic-fil-a" style ahead of the window. Great logistics and even better creamy whip libations. A staple in the Colerain-White Oak-Monfort Heights community!!

Gold Top is another good dairy bar. It has similar offerings to the others. This one gets higher marks for things like good seating. It has a menu of cold favorites. They serve lots of hot food too. I had a cherry slushie. It's about $2 for a medium. This is much better than many other slushies. It's melty enough that it doesn't turn to ice right away. This is also refreshingly cold. My head hurt really bad. They have other popular items like their own version of the blizzard, as well as hot food like burgers and fries. I think it's one of the better dairy bars. It has a drive thru. This helps keep the lines better at the window.

Recently moved to the area and have been trying out local ice cream places. I looked up the google reviews (4.6 stars with 427 reviews) and decided to give this place a try. Looked at the menu online on their website and was really excited to try the edible cookie dough, was going to order the Fifty Fifty (half soft serve, half cookie dough). Once I got there the menu didn't say anything about edible cookie dough but I still asked. The worker had no idea what I was taking about. I panic-ordered a cookie sundae. It was honestly pretty terrible. Mini chocolate chips weren't any good, the cookies were not heated up in advance and store bought, the hot fudge was scarce and on the side and even the cherry was nasty. We'll be sticking to Flub's!

I just love a dairy bar. My goal is to hit all of them in the area. I'm close. I got my ol standard, a chocolate dipped cone. I got the kiddie size. It was perfect. A cool addition to this place is edible cookie dough. Both the birthday cake and chocolate chip are delicious! It's nice to get that Kings Island blue ice cream fix there. I even had a sip of my husband's malt. I mean this place has been around forever; it's awesome. Get anything. You can't go wrong.
