Great local place. We went because the other ice cream at Summit Park was closed, and I'm glad it was, because this is better. Good, hand scooped ice cream at a reasonable price (comparable to Graeter's). The store itself is very airy... High ceilings, good spacing. A nice touch that you can self serve water. Scenic outdoor seating too.We were the only people in the store and the employees were more than willing to give us some samples, which was good as we did not prefer the ice cream made with coconut milk (I imagine a great choice for those with allergies though). Our group picked chocolate, cookies and cream, and pistachio. My favorite was the cookies and cream, which had appropriately sized cookie chunks. The waffle cones are totally worth it.

After enjoying some time outdoors at Summit Park, it's nice to have only a short walk to get some ice cream. Gold Spoon Creamery has a variety of fun flavors. I am also a big fan of their brownies. In addition, they are dog friendly. My dog loves to come here for a pup cup filled with whipped cream. The workers here are also very friendly and helpful.

This place was such a gem! My son has a dairy allergy, and we were looking for some dairy free options. They had 5 different flavors that were available to him! They let him try it and he liked all of them! I had their lemon sorbet, which was delicious on a hot day! The ambiance of the store was so cute too!! I love the gold accents and decor.

Everything is great! Absolutely love a trendy moment and the colors here during Barbie week were immaculate. Absolutely LOVED getting a pink cone.For the ice cream, absolutely straight to the top of my ice-cream-in-Cincinnati list. Thank you for the delicious vegan ice cream flavors! I chose a cone with the coconut milk-based Cookies & Cream. It had nice big chunks of Oreo as well as a slightly more prominent coconut flavor than usual, which was a good thing to me! Service was quick and ready to help. They do sell vegan pints, which is awesome (but priced too high in my book, at almost double the price of a pint of Graeter's). They have dairy free ice cream and gluten free ice cream options, too.

The place is beautiful, the service is friendly, and the reviews are great! Then, why was it so disappointing? The ice cream had a weird texture and the flavors were very overpowering and not balanced. The affogato was decent but mostly due to vanilla being a safe flavor the espresso being good. I really wanted to like this place, but was surprised to be let down. When Cincinnati is teeming with so many innovative and fantastic ice cream joints, Gold Spoon needs to step it up.

This ice cream shop is located amongst other neighboring businesses and nestled within an apartment complex. Definitely had great curb appeal but, let's go inside to find out how they match up! As I entered I'm hit with a sweet aromatic smells! I tried Saint Looey Gooey; cream cheese ice cream with chunks of pound cake and pockets of gooey caramel. I was quite confuse, where's the caramel? Cream cheese flavor?? All I could taste was the pound cake! I skipped on that one and had no desire to try anymore. So I ordered, vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone. Sadly, just reminded me of the generic brand of vanilla ice cream. The vanilla bean specks were there just not the flavor. Disappointing! On the positive side, the freshly made waffle cone was delicious all by itself!

This was our first time to Gold Spoon and all I can say is Oh My How Cute! The art deco decor, personalized neon light, soft pinks/golds/turquoise colors are so inviting!Their menu is also one of THE most gf/v/df friendly ice cream menus I've ever seen in the Cincinnati area!I ordered mini scoops (how awesome is it that you can order mini scoops?!) of the chocolate chocolate chip (v) - think almond joy candy bar...soooo delicious... and the strawberry swirl (v) with chunks of actual strawberries in it! I will 100% be back and will 100% make the drive specifically to come here!
