Go Bananas Comedy Club

Loved it! Visited my BFF last weekend and we took a peak at several comedy clubs with this one standing out: time of shows and cost. You can't beat $15 a ticket with three comics? Sign me up. The club was super cute the comics were HILARIOUS! All of them perfect on their material, their timing, their delivery. We had a blast. Bought a bottle of white and some mozz sticks. Staff was awesome loved our server. Parking was easy. Impressive experience as it has been years since I last hit up a comedy club. Thank you for making this a great experience!

This place has been around a long time and I hadn't been in about twenty years. Not much has changed, it's still a dark, small comedy club, which is the kind of place you like to see comedy in. They have decent acts and the prices are reasonable. They do have food, but unlike their competitors, you aren't forced to order it to meet a minimum (at least there was not a minimum at the show we attended). The only drawback here, the bathrooms are way too small. Two stalls for women makes for long lines. Go check out this local gem and support live comedy.

This is my second time here and both times have been very good. The comedians have been excellent at least on Saturdays. My first time I ordered something to eat it want memorable but I do recall n not being bad. This time I ordered a Makers on the rocks and it was a very well filled drink and about $11 so not bad. The service both time has been excellent and the place was comfortableish I say it that way, because the are basic stackable chair and you will be here for a while. If you need comfort bring a cushion. Other than then that the place is good clean and temp wasn't bad. I will be back I am sure. I normally come with several friends. Several of which go next door after the show.

Had a blast at the show tonight!Eli Wilz was by far the best on the pro-am circuit. Hoping GB's will have him back soon for more headline or support work to give him more time!Excellent service and easy ticketing made the evening a breeze. Great comedy club right outside Montgomery across from Kroger. Awesome!!

First time going there on a random date night. We had a blast and will definitely go back.

This was a pretty fun place. You wouldn't think of a comedy club being in Montgomery, but there it was, and they were ready to serve. There's plenty of tables, and we were seated and immediately offered drinks. And for food, the menu was pretty good. Looks like they have a full bar. My white Russian was so good I had to put it down and wait to eat a little bit before I finished it. Food also was pretty good. Not really great restaurant quality, but still pretty good for a comedy club. I was happy and it was a good night. Good times watching people do their comedy thing and just having fun. There's lots of information screens around, and you definitely know what you're getting into. Overall, it was great and I definitely want to go back. I mean, $5 to get in is a great price. So come and take more of my money, please!

We had a great time at Go Bananas. I went with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. I would suggest getting there early so you can get a good spot. If you don't want to be called out don't sit in the front row. When we got there the waiters were super nice and quick about getting drinks and food. They had a nice variety of brews. When the show started all of the comedians were great and some were really good at feeding off the crowd. I would definitely recommend to friends and anyone that wants a good laugh and to try something new.

I have been a fan of the place for years, but now that they've renovated and upgraded the menu a bit, I'm really excited. I was there on Christmas Night, which they hope to make a new tradition. The headliner, Ran Barnaclo, was perfect in his mix of crowd work and written material and most of the comics on the lineup were hysterical or at least very professional in their presentation. As for the food: I had the chicken tenders with a huge vat of BBQ sauce (and it's the BEST BBQ sauce ever!) and a Coke. But I really wanna try the new burgers on the menu next time I go.My favorite part about this club is that they do not tolerate heckling or people rudely talking throughout the show. They know that comedy is art and that people come to hear the comedians tell jokes. They're aggressive in monitoring this and I LOVE that. If you wanna talk to your friends, do it after the show at the bar next door.Finally, I appreciate that even if I attend a show alone, I'm not usually forced to sit at a table with a stranger like you do at other clubs. Sometimes that's not possible - for instance when someone like the great Chad Daniels is on the bill and the club is sold out - but usually, I'm sat at a two-top alone and am never made to feel anything but welcomed by the staff.Bottomline: this is a great club featuring great comedy at great prices!

My fiancé and I came for a Saturday night 7:30pm comedy show and we had a wonderful night full of laughter!This has been our first comedy club in Cincinnati and it is different compared to comedy clubs in other cities that I've experienced. Let me explain: you "reserve" your tickets online but you don't actually buy them until you arrive to the show. This leads me to believe that reservations can sell out but maybe tickets can be purchased without a reservation the night-of if people don't show up and pay for their reserved tickets? I'm not sure if there's a time they make the decision that someone isn't coming. I'm curious to know!Anyway, we arrived around 7 (30mins early), paid for our tickets and were seated. The seating is first come first serve, which explains why a lot of people got there quite early. We were glad we did! We didn't want to be right at the front or way in the back, so 30mins early seemed to be perfect for us. We had a table to ourselves, which was nice, but if we had a group of 4 we could have shared or if it got super crowded another group of 2 could have been seated at our table. We had a server the entire time. We did not order any food but they have basic options like burgers, wings, pizza. They had a good list of beer, wine and even frozen drinks. A lot of people were ordering frozen drinks so they seem to be a popular thing. They even offer dessert items and milkshakes. I got a glass of wine and my fiancé got some beers. They do not have beer on draft but they have bottles and cans. The comedy was by far the best part - which is what you want in a comedy club, right? Haha we definitely didn't go for the food or even the drinks. The comedy was soooo good!! There were 3 openers before the headliner act and they were all funny. The headliner was on stage for about an hour and had us belly laughing. It was such a great experience and for only $15 a ticket. I saw on the website that weeknight shows are only $10. Definitely a great bang for your buck! I highly recommend checking it out! In fact, I already reserved tickets to go back next weekend!! Can't wait!

Called to ask a question about our reservation and the manager, Michael, asked me for my last name and when I tried to explain the problem interrupted me and repeated loudly and slowly for me to give him my last name. Then, he told me they were in the middle of a show (@ 6:30- when they open). Next, he hung up on me. It was so rude and unprofessional. Fortunately, someone else answered when I called and helped me. ​Michael can't manage himself so it is unfortunate that he the manage. Very unpleasant experience and we haven't even stepped foot in the venue.
