Gilmore Lanes

Overall decent bowling lanes. Pretty old school feeling in here.The place definitely feels like it's been around for a while. The lanes do have electronic scoring so that's a plus. Our lane kept screwing up by knocking down pins before you would even thrown the ball..so they should probably check into that.Overall not the best or worst lanes I've ever bowled at. I would come here again. Didn't really deal with the staff much at all so I can't really comment on that. Everything was pretty reasonably priced.

I was shocked this place was open at noon on a Monday afternoon in May. Most of the bowling centers around here have limited hours after winter leagues end. I have been bowling at Gilmore for years in tournaments and the employees and owner/GM always has the place running well and looking good. Bar can be fun on the right night and the drinks are good too. Fun place to bowl!

I really enjoyed the place. Went while leagues were bowling so had to wait a while. No problem! Went to the bar and played pool. The bar is a dive bar but that totally fits the theme. Everyone was nice and we had a great time!

Very rude and unprofessional !! an entire group was harassed and followed out to their cars for a situation a SINGLE person in the group had done. The owner also screamed in a young women's face who was just an innocent bystander after she told told him she wasn't involved and wanted nothing to do with the situation!!!Police were also called and they accused my brother of bringing alcohol into the facility that did not belong to him.That reply doesn't answer why the whole group was harassed. You stated "a female from the group" which means your aware it was a single person in the group. what about the rest of the group?? Why not address that one person? Why give car descriptions on some of us that were bystanders to the situation. Who were also by the way trying to calm her down. The owner also lied and put the alcohol bottle on someone else who it didn't belong to, y'all don't want to address that part though.

Would not recommend for people of color or really anyone. From the time we got there they were monitoring us and policing us to the point they questioned when we went to the bathroom and when we went out to our car. The blonde lady actually followed us out to our car, asking if we had "a problem".. Lied and said our lane couldn't have bumpers up but everyone else's did, also claimed there was an "age limit" on bumpers?? Even though when we first asked an employee she was actually on her way to put them up with no problem before the taller white guy came over and cut her off. Owner screamed in the face of a younger woman in our group saying "I'm the owner, idgaf". Ended our night with the police called on us and they treated us very condescendingly the entire time we were there. Even when we were leaving with no problem, they attempted to give car descriptions and license plates as if they were looking for an arrest to be made?? Definitely would not be returning unless it's to spit on the ground in front of them.To the owner: Funny how you didn't address a single thing in the beginning of my original review because you know you all treated us unfairly. A single person's actions shouldn't reflect on an entire group of people. The actions of 1 person caused you all to become very disrespectful to people that had nothing to do with what happened. A simple discussion or asking the SINGLE person that caused an issue to leave truly would have sufficed. But thank you for your half assed and very biased response! Reflects greatly on your business. Sidenote: Screaming and cussing in a young woman's face (as a "man" at that) that did absolutely nothing wrong may or may not result in getting your glasses knocked off lol.

I called about prices for Tuesday night, and I talked to the woman on the phone that was unfortunately not very nice. She proceeded to ask "well when are you coming in?" With a horrible attitude, I told her that same day and she said "well I have nothing open until 9, and it's 2$ for shoes and $2 for lanes." I wish they would've had someone a little more nice to HELP bring customers in, not scare them off. Now that I've read everyone's review I'm not so sure this place has been well for years... Went during their wacky Wednesday event and although prices are okay. Customer service was awful very rude and disrespectful. There was one in our party that brought their own bowling shoes but since they weren't there's she was asked to change or get out. Which is normally fine right? Well, not when further down there is a bigger party where 9/12 of the people bowling didn't have their bowling shoes and actually no bowling shoes on! When I brought this to their attention they said they were their shoes however we took a look and they were JORDANS! They then told us that if we didn't like how things were going we could leave and never come back. Horrible way of operating a business. I hope the owner or someone in charge would do something about this.

Don't let the outside fool you. Lanes were clean, pricing was affordable, and the customer service was great. Very friendly staff!

This place was decent. A little old, but the lanes were in nice condition and the staff was friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday afternoon, it was $8.50 for 1 game (or $12/hour) plus $2 per person for shoes. Pizza and snacks were reasonably priced.The bartender / food server was cleaning and mopping the floors, put down the mop to take my order and put his hands all over my food without washing his hands or wearing gloves. Not sure if everyone is as bothered by that kind of thing as I am, but I thought it was kind of gross. Aside from that, no complaints!
