Gilbert Station

Great experience. Very very small town establishment. Great bar very friendly bartenders. Several craft beers on tap. Signature cocktails, and an extensive wine list. They carry a lot of wines from the winery at Versailles. Large food menu. I had the grilled chicken wrap. The french fries were delicious. They are the thin variety. They had a great band in there. Live music every Thursday night. The Wayward J's we're playing when I was there. Plenty of parking out back. They do have a patio for summer music acts. Overall very good experience. Highly recommend the drive regardless of where you're coming from.

Gilbert Station food is crazy good. Turkey, brisket, rolls, corn, potatoes...my goodness super good. Would love to return.

You will not be disappointed! This food is the best food I've had in Ohio. Burgers are great, pizza is great. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

We used to really look forward to going there. We talked with the owner Chris a few times. However, tonight changed everything. The menu has changed and what we looked forward to is minimally there anymore. We ordered a sharable, stuffed mushrooms with cheese and sausage. We immediately noticed something was wrong. It was BITTER. I tried a bit of the cheese, then a piece of sausage and then a piece of mushroom. Definitely it was the mushrooms. I have never experienced ever a mushroom that was bitter. It was sent back. At the end of our initial ordering we ordered Mexican street corn to go. After finishing our wraps we waited a very long time, over 30 minutes for the corn to arrive. It was not very much as it filled a small styrofoam cup - certainly NOT worth the $12 charged. The place was not swamped this Sunday evening. I don't see us returning.

I loved the ribeye it was delicious! So good I went back for more. The Spank pork is fantastic too

Amazing food, huge steaks, delicious sandwiches( honestly better than fine dining in Dayton Ohio) appetizer was excellent!! Waitress was very attentive .!!

A quaint small town bar. The people were friendly, it was full of patrons and the bar food is very good. It is worth a trip for a change of pace.

I was so disappointed in this place. We are in town for the sprint car race at Eldora tonight. We came in here for a late lunch. The place was only about half full, but when we walked in we noticed it was very warm and stuffy inside. The A/C was either off or turned very low. Very uncomfortable. I had some work to do, and brought out my laptop. I carry my own JetPack for wireless internet. In this case internet was slow because of the heavy usage from high attendance at the track. We had already ordered our food, plus adult beverages. When I asked the wait staff for a password to connect to the restaurant's guest Wi-Fi, they said no. Hmmm. Sometimes a bar or restaurant's service is more than the food. The food was okay, but I will never be back. To be fair to the waitress, she did go back and ask the owner for the password. So I will blame the owner who clearly doesn't appreciate customers and their business. I would have continued to order expensive craft beer had I been comfortable and been able to work. We left (I had no desire to finish more than 1/4 of my meal) since I felt cheated from what should have been a nice lunch. We went to a place in nearby St Henry and got great food in an air conditioned restaurant that was gracious The food is priced better here, the wait staff is superb and the place is accommodating rather than hostile. We are able to get online here and spread out. Thank you St Henry restaurants! Boo to Burkettsville.

Small town hospitality. Friendly server, quick service, clean, and inviting.Food is bar fare with a twist. Excellent menu with a good amount of choices to appeal to any appetite. Food was excellent.
