Gaslight Café

Old school spot been there for years. This was our second visit. The service was excellent, Jack was new, and he was on it. Ge was very friendly and kind. We had margaritas, the first one was so so, but once we mentioned it, Jack and the bartender made sure number 2 was good. We had at least 2 other people check on us. We later found out one was our chef! We talked to him on his second check-in. Very nice guy.We had potato skins, nachos, and grilled ham and cheese. The skins were so dang good that my friend ordered a second batch to go. These were like when potato skins first hit the scene, real cheese, lots of bacon, and not cooked too hard. I ate my leftovers for breakfast the next day. Can't wait until the next time.

I've driven by for years (decades actually) and my 90 year old father mentioned going there in the past, so we decided to meet friends for dinner. The fact that they also had a nice local craft beer selection was another win. Also private parking lot out back. Atmosphere is pleasant, iconic, art deco style booths, lots of memorabilia on the walls. Easy to find a table on a Monday night, not too loud. Simple yet varied menu. Patty melt and onion rings good, quarter pound cheeseburger a bit well done, half pound Gaslight burger was delicious. Completely forgot to take photos of food until I was done! Great to patronize a local place!

Can't go wrong with this establishment the staff is great the food is amazing.The staff literally make you feel like you are at home and it is family style. My favorite days to go are Wednesdays and Sundays. The burgers are great but you honestly can't go wrong with anything on there menu.

Not to be confused with the pretentious mess on Ludlow in Clifton, the Gaslight Cafe is a Pleasant Ridge fixture since the 80s, at least that's when I first remember them. Definitely the local hangout for Pleasant Ridge. An eclectic mix of folks and food makes this one of our favorite places for a late lunch. The daily special is a treat and the burgers and wings excel when compared to the chains. As always, local is best.Great service. Good food. Decent value.

Our group from the Y tried to go to Quatmans for lunch today. The place was packed and there were no spots on the parking lot. One of our group suggested The Gaslight Cafe, and seeing as it was relatively close by, four of us went there. They weren't as busy and we found a table easily. We were waited on immediately and with cheerful charm. 3 of us ordered burgers and the fourth ordered a club sandwich. My burger and fries were delicious and everyone else also enjoyed their meal. For a relatively small establishment, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service

We went here today based on a City Beat recommendation and it was well worth it! The bartenders were super friendly and took time to offer samples of their draft beers. Food was delicious and my cheeseburger was probably the best I have had in quite some time. Prices? You can't beat them!! Cheeseburger & Onion Rings, Turkey Club w/chips and 2 craft draft beers for less than $35. The vibe is super laid back with lots of memorabilia on the walls. We will be back for sure!!

One of the best and longest running bars in Cincinnati! Very similar to Cheers where everyone knows your name. This local pub has some of the best burgers I have ever had. Gary and his family own it and the crew is sweet. Not to mention they support local community events. Great place to come have a beer and maybe some food and catch up with friends and neighbors. So blessed to have this gem in my neighborhood! Parking out back and located in the heart of Pleasant Ridge.

Best fish and chips outside of England. Good beer selection on draft. Will be back. Incredible value.
