Garretts - Broadway

I've eaten here quite a few times now. The food is always great. The staff is always friendly. They have small indoor and outdoor eating areas in an old building in downtown Carlisle. The diverse menu offers Ky favorites and entrees the entire family can enjoy. The decor is on point with eclectic vintage mismatched tables and chairs. The rustic charm is cozy and inviting. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. We always end up bringing home leftovers, their portions are hefty! Garretts never disappoints!

A truly great restaurant in a restored old building with indoor and covered outdoor dining. Friendly staff , good food, nice portions make dining a pleasure. Take out available and serve alcohol. Family friendly. We ride motorcycles and will definitely ride there again just to go there.

Stopped in for a late dinner. My husband had the ribs. (We couldn't determine the type) BBQ sauce was served on the side for dipping. Coleslaw was too creamy when he likes it to have more of a vinegar bite. Green beans were just green beans. Nothing special. My chicken tenders were huge and the fries had a nice crunch. I ordered honey mustard and ranch for my dipping. Then I stole some of his BBQ sauce. The star of the show however, was the peach bread pudding

My husband and I went with his brother and husband to visit while they are in from California. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but Staci was busy so we chatted while waiting. The food was fresh and hot when we received it and seasoned well. We were treated very well and never felt rushed even though we were there for 2 hours. The restaurant itself is not overly bright and the atmosphere is very homey. The price is in line for what you would pay for anywhere you would go. Definitely give it a try.
