We love any place that presents mostly local artists in a cool spot. Gallery OTR has a revolving collection of different forms of art: photography (some great Cincinnati images in particular), painting, and even sculpture depending on the rotation. There is something for all tastes, be it contemporary, to traditional. We have visited usually on the weekends and enjoy interacting with the owner who comes from a mostly photography background, and really love his dog that usually sits on a pillow but is always happy to say hi and let you pet him. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and not stuffy like some galleries. So, whether you are looking to spruce up your walls or buy a nice gift for someone special, consider checking out Gallery OTR. If you are worried about parking, the garage on 12th and Vine around the corner is not only covered but one of the lowest cost in the city. We often find street parking nearby too.

Wonderful gallery in the Over-The-Rhine district in downtown Cincinnati. We just happened to wander in after eating around the corner and were pleased with the eclectic mix of sculpture, prints, and paintings by local artists. Mark the owner was super-helpful and even recommended other galleries in the area to us. We returned later, bought a large print and he was even willing to ship it to us.

Gallery OTR is a great little spot that always has something new to see and appreciate. The gallery is beautiful and features a wide variety of artwork on display and for sale. The owner (Mark) is a very talented photographer and is always friendly and welcoming. If you're a local or a visitor, I highly recommend stopping by!

I stopped in here during the monthly Art Walk and found the most amazing piece of art for my new apartment. There's really diverse offerings whether you're looking for paintings, photographs, sculptures....you name it. Definitely worth a visit when checking out the Gem that is Over The Rhône.

My wife and i visited Gallery OTR on Saturday and i really thought it was a joke that they call this a gallery. One of the big features was little people made out of peanuts. We saw nothing of interest and more of a collection of local wannabe artists. While i applaud Mark Byron trying to support locals that want to call themselves artists, most of the work is not gallery material. Yet is pricing this mediocre art at what you would expect to pay for works of artist that have genuine talent.
