This little shop is amazing! Not only can the proprietor tell you exactly where in the world their stock is sourced, but they have an amazing selection of olive oils, teas, spices, herb rubs, gifts, and mixes.

Very good selection of infused oils and balsamic vinegars. Had free tastings available. Lots of good spices and runs and even had no salt options.

A great selection of vinegars and oils that are reasonable priced. There are sample cups everywhere, so you don't have to wait on someone to serve samples to you. They also had some very interesting flavors like smoked olive oil and grilled lemon balsamic. My reason for it being only a four-star review is that...there wasn't a lot of garlic? With "Garlic" right in the name of the shop, we were expecting tons and tons of garlic things. There were a few, but no more than you'd find in a regular oil and vinegar shop.

Galena Garlic Co. was a favorite find during my recent trip to Madison.GGC has such a wide selection of flavored balsamic vinegars and olive oils, as well as spices, spice blends, pasta and more.And the selection was also organized in such an intuitive way. I was on the lookout for champagne vinegar for my husband -- something fun we had recently seen on a YouTube cooking video. I was able to find this on my own rather quickly.I love that we were able to walk around and try several of these too. I ended up buying a small bottle of peach balsamic vinegar based on the sample I tasted. I can't wait to try it on salads.The staff was helpful and told us they also ship. Every aspiring home chef should visit this shop.

On the west end of the historic district, I found one of those unique shops that appeal to the gourmet inside me. I have found a few similar shops around the state and now that I've experienced the concept, I stop whenever I find one. This shop carries lots of balsamic vinegars and olive oils: All kinds of flavor combinations that you can pour a small amount into a disposable mini cup for tasting before you purchase. Along the walls are packaged seasonings, rubs, soups, and crock pot additions too. So, basically, if you like adding layers of flavor, here is the place to visit.I found a bottle of medium depth flavored olive oil that I'm looking forward to trying on some salads as well as cooking with.Review #3400

Love this store. Even if you are not a garlic lover there are lot's of great spice and oil selections. Just a short walk from the fountain.

I was so excited during my visit, I was caught up in the experience. My mom and I stopped by here about 20 minutes before they closed. I could have stayed there for an hour. You can sample olive oils and vinegars that are infused with so many unique flavors. The combinations are incredible and the quality is too. I opted to get the multi bottle offer, 3 for $45. They also have seasoning packets and jarred food items. The service was friendly and I didn't feel rushed, even though we came in close to closing time. This is my new go to spot for oils and vinegars.

We stumbled upon this little shop while wandering around Madison. I love to cook so of course I had to take a peak inside. There's a huge selection of balsamic vinegars, olive oils, and seasoning blends that ALL have tasters. They also have some other products like dried pasta, sauces, salsa, honey, and jams. We ended up purchasing a bottle of Italian Tuscan Herb Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a pack of Halftime Chili seasoning. The olive oil is super tasty, especially when we add some parm cheese to it and dip Italian bread in it! We haven't used the chili seasoning, yet. I'll be sure to stop back in this shop to try a few other things next time we are in town.

If you head to Madison, In, and you like to cook, check out this treasure. I travel here at least twice per year to get my supply of Balsamic Vinegars. They also sell olive oils and spices. You will not regret it.
