Fortune Express

My neighborhood Chinese spot - it seems like everyone comes here for their to go orders! I'm always greeted with a smile and the food is always made fresh and tastes fresh. It's the hole in the wall vibe yet clean. The hot and sour soup is full of yummy bits and my scallops and shrimp are always cooked just right and not overcooked. It's the local spot with family favorites. It's not big chain and you're going to wait a little bit for your food because there's usually only one guy slaving in the kitchen.

Good food, nice prices. Odd hours (closed 2:30-4:00 and Sundays). Have to call or walk in to place carry out order.Try the chicken curry, hot and soup, and twice cooked pork.Appears to be family owned and operated.Check new menu pictures. Prices 5/17/2024

Decent hole-in-the-wall American Chinese restaurant. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Well executed food. Clean dining room. Efficient staff. Great if you are near-by, not worth a trip otherwise.

If you really know what you want then you get that.I think the food is delicious, course customer service may be stress some time because there usually is only 2 people there.So when ever they open there pretty busy.Sometimes they are just closed so there is no way I can buy from them.But if they open I guess earlier they would get more of my business since I'm just down the road to themThe building is not outside appealing.And we always drove by, and never stop, until we gave it a try, and wow, we were missing.Great food I love it.

Excellent and consistency good. Service is great! We order takeout from here 2-3 times a month. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I'm extremely picky about Chinese food, and have to say that Fortune Express is my favorite. The rice is perfect! Beef with mixed vegetables is my favorite, with Beef Fried Rice as a very close second. The Cream Cheese Wontons are delicious, as are the Spring Rolls. So happy to live near such a gem!We've never dined in because we live so close. With 2 kids, it's nice to go pick something up and eat at home. Sometimes the phone rings and rings when I call to place an order. I don't mind waiting a few minutes and then trying again though. They can get busy and don't ignore customers who are in person to answer a phone call. I've also seen the owner go in the back and cook, so it's an all-hands-on-deck type of establishment. I respect that and don't mind being patient. The quality, price, and service are worth it.

This place is terrible. The wait for food is about 45 minutes to an hour. The food, especially the white rice, comes out cold and the meat, especially the pork, is tougher than stones. Have a very bad stomach ache after a few minutes of ingesting the food. Never going here again. Gonna go throw up now.

Ordered Singapore noodles, not what I expected, but it was delicious. It was a large portion and I ate the whole thing. I will be back.

Ordered orange chicken with white rice; the chicken was real and definitely hand breaded! The sauce however was not citrusy or spicy and just tasted sweet, bland.

My go-to restaurant for high quality, delicious Chinese food! I have tried several others but nothing compares to Fortune Express in my community.

This is by FAR my favorite Chinese restaurant in Cincinnati!! Their food never disappoints and the service is always friendly and welcoming. I've been coming here ever since I was little and I always make sure to show this restaurant to my friends!
