Flavor Catering & Bar Service

We hired Flavorful Dishes to do all vegan catering for our 40-person wedding dinner. They did a great job. They put together a creative menu with stuffed peppers, eggplant piccata, and watermelon roast. Our favorite was the eggplant piccata. We heard compliments from multiple guests about the food. The service throughout the wedding was helpful and professional. Overall, we had a delicious meal, and the setup went smoothly!

Who does Vegan? Chef Dominick Harney does!My daughter's a Vegan, and she married a Vegan. When she did, she told me she wanted a meat-free reception. I was reluctant, because there were far more carnivores than herbivores on the invite list, but she put me in touch with Chef Dominick. My wife and I met the chef with our daughter and her fiance. He suggested a local coffee shop, and when we arrived, he was extremely pleasant, but most importantly, he convinced us he could pull this off. I reluctantly agreed, and the following day, he forwarded the menu and a contract to me. It was reasonable, and looking at the menu, I started to see the light. As the day grew nearer, Dominick reached out to verify the final headcount, and on the day of the celebration, his crew arrived in plenty of time to serve the most wonderful vegetable meal ever conceived - at least in my humble opinion!From the appetizers to the main course, everything was packed with flavors, and with a couple of the items, several guests thought they were actually eating meat! Everything was fresh, crisp, and prepared EXACTLY the way she had asked it to be.I knew I had made the right choice, as all evening over 170 guests told me how wonderful the meal was, and how impressed they were at the catering. I told them all the same thing: Chef Dominick Harney at Flavor Catering and Bar Service!

My wife and I really appreciated Dominick. He met us at an easy location and was prepared with options and food for the tasting. We were really impressed and everything we tasted was excellent. Our communication was easy throughout the process, and he was truly just great to work with. He truly cares about the customer, and I'd recommend him to anyone planning an event. Hopefully we'll find a way to work with him again in the future.

We've used Flavor Catering several times over the years for various events in our department at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The Chef is great to work with and very willing to meet a variety of needs (i.e., gluten free & vegetarian), which can't be easy when dealing with a larger group. The vegetarian lasagna is very popular with our group and I recommend it highly!! We are, overally, highly satisfied customers.

I would not use this service for breakfast catering. Food was very cold, waffles and pancakes very rubbery, egg casseroles were very burnt around the edges. I hear that lunch food is good but breakfast was awful.
