Figlio Wood Fired Pizza

Cozy restaurant and great food! You can make reservations online which helps a lot with wait time. I made one way in advance for Valentine's Day and it was great! Great staff and drinks.

We eat out in the Dayton/South Dayton area quite often and for some reason, we tend to forget about Figlio. Maybe because it's set back in the corner of Towne and Country. Apparently other people don't forget about them because they always seem to be hopping!We are always pleased with our service and enjoy the food as well. Tonight, I got the Tipsy Chicken Pasta, which was very good, but it had very little chicken in the dish. Everyone else at our table liked their pasta dishes as well.After dinner, both couples split desserts. We had the ice cream torte, which was plenty for two! It was the perfect ending to a nice meal.One extra thing to note: the staff was very patient with my in-laws, who are in their upper 80s, and take a little longer to order.

Figlio Wood-Fired Pizza, (E. Stroop in Kettering). Cheese and margherita pizzas. The pizza was really good. Loved the crust! My only "complaint" of sorts, is that the margherita pizza wasn't made with red sauce. I've never had a margherita pizza not made with red sauce, so it wasn't my favorite. Really good other than that!

Nice place with an upbeat feel. We went rather early and already the bar and dining room were filling up. We all went with pasta dishes. I had the Spicy tomato sauce with blackened chicken over penne. Very tasty with a nice level of heat. Grabbed an old fashion cocktail that was well made and very tasty. The wait staff was very attentive with out being intrusive. We have recently starting going back to Figlio's after forgetting about them for several years. The food and service were both solid and we will return again soon. Highly recommend if you are looking for great food with top shelf service in the Kettering area.

Restaurant week was a great time to try multi courses and share with family. Figlio's was exceptional. Peasant Salad & Caesar are always great. We tried the Mushroom pizza it was so delicious. We had a pesto pasta, and creamy pasta both were delicious with Crème brûlée & tiramisu desserts.Our server was lovely attentive and offered wine pairing that were perfect We sat under the glass greenhouse with a little candle on our table. It felt cozy and upscale- I highly recommend!

This has become a spot we enjoy taking the family.All dishes are fresh and made to order. Wood fired pizza and tasty desserts. Perfect pasta and wonderful pizzaPrices are reasonable and out of 5 visits we haven't had a bad wait staff member at all.They keep their menu short and simple but enough options to please even the pickiest eater.Only note is the ice cream dishes come out rock solid deep frozen and you have to let them thaw in front of you to really enjoy the flavors. They aren't frost bitten but it does take away some enjoyment

Shrimp bisque, bread, wine and desserts are good. Pasta dishes could be better. Service is great. Ambiance is nice.

We LOVE Figlio! A very busy night last week- I don't think we saw an open table. Always a favorite - the peasant salad - my only sigh is that we could order it without the red onion. I tried the Walleye and it was so delicious! My husband had the salmon - it was fabulous! Great cocktails and wine list. Clean. Efficient. Priced fairly .If you haven't tried it yet - make sure you make a reservation.

Absolutely stunning and delicious . Service was great and the sunroom is always a beautiful place to eat !

Most flavorful and delicious dinner we've had all year. Attention to the taste details and mix of seasonings delivers diverse richness in every spoon and forkful. Starter of focaccia bread, oil and seasoning is SO good we had to just stop and not overstuff! Shrimp and corn chowder next kept the tastebud dream going, to the point of asking for more bread to soak up the last drops! Worth it! But, leaving the starters in the dust, the walleye/ asparagus entree was a studied blend of complimentary flavors that satisfied regardless of the combination, and we tried to find a mediocre mix, but couldn't! Gotta go!
