Fifty West Burger Bar

While service and food is a coin flip we had a pretty good experience the last two visits. We actually got a seat inside and our food was actually hot and fresh (sometimes if you're outside the food is cold before you get it). This is a busy place with kids running around and adults and pets everywhere so be sure you're up for chaos we love that outside is very pet friendly!

This review is for Fifty West in Deerfield.The food was terrible. Took over 30 minutes to get the pita appetizer and pretzels.The fries were undercooked and the fried chicken was not hand breaded.The location is nice so hopefully they can do something about the food.

Pretty good burger and beer place, excellent place if you want to do "things" while you have you beer and burger. 50 West is more than just a bar serving bar food - with pickleball, sand volleyball, an ice rink in the winter and loads of people to chat with - if got just about something for most people. It's not entirely my vibe but when in the mood, it definitely scratches an itch.

Awesome environment for kids and adults. Love stopping here after a bike ride on the trail for a Kansas burger, fries with fry sauce, and a couple great beers!

Their burgers are fantastic, and it is always so lively. The burgers and fries are very reminiscent of the fast casual New York based chain, Shake Shack. In addition to top-notch burgers and shakes, they also host a lot of fun events. I've been to a few dog-friendly events, and I've seen a concert here as well. There is also a bike trail nearby that is great for a post-meal walk.

Everything about this place is awesome. The burgers were delicious. I loved the loaded fries the best. And we were pleasantly surprised with the Mac n cheese bites. Usually when those are on a menu we try them out and we're disappointed in the flavor, but these ones were excellent. The day we went was super busy, as the weather was awesome. We were lucky to find a table. It did take a while for the food to come out due to the demand, but it was worth it. Great place to bring your dog or kids!

We visited for Cincy Burger Week. In my opinion, the food at the Burger Bar is nothing to write home about, but the environment/ vibes are worth the visit. I tried the Colorado burger with a veggie patty. The veggie burger is definitely just a frozen patty like I could get at Costco- not very good. And the burger was small and overpowered by the pickled jalapeños- hardly any other flavor came through. The burgers don't come with fries so it can add up but we enjoyed the burger week deal. We found the volleyball/ pickleball/ cornhole so fun to watch! We found seating and parking even though there were a couple private events going on and it was a busy Saturday night. The tables in the sand are fun to sit in and I can see how it would be fun to sit here with a few drinks. I want to bring my family back for a visit because I think there's something we can all appreciate!

We stopped here to hang out with friends while we were visiting Cincinnati and it was such an experience. When you walk in you see plenty of seating, sand, volleyball and people running around. They have some covered seating and then a bunch of tables spread out. It's perfect for hanging out with groups of people and very family friendly.They have two purchase areas, one for food and milkshakes and the other for beer. I think this helps keep things moving with so many people around. I'm sure this gets annoying sometimes when someone wants beer and food, but with it being such a big place I'm sure it streamlines the orders and helps get everything out to people quicker. We moved around a bit since our friends had kids so we spent some time at a picnic table by the ordering area and then moved into the sand later in the evening.There were so many dogs, kids, teens and adults around having fun.We ended up ordering some food and they had some good options where everyone can find something to enjoy. The crinkle cut fries were tasty and we also grabbed a chicken sandwich that disappeared way too quickly. I guess chasing around a bunch of kids works up an appetite. The beers were also tasty and they had a good variety of options. The parking was kind of a nightmare, but considering how busy it was it didn't take too terribly long to wait until someone else left to grab their spot.

Holy crap. Chicken sandwich, $8, wayyyyy smaller than anything at McDonald's. Good brews, fine people watching. Sandy volleyball. Nice.Don't come for the food.
