Esther Price Candies

Traveling home from vacation we stopped so I could grab a box of my mother's favorite chocolates for her birthday. This store was amazing with all kinds of sweet delights. It was Sweetest Day so I had seen some of the specials displayed which was pretty impressive. The lady that assisted me was very nice and offered some samples to try. I bought a chocolate bar for each of my travel companions and a bag of "Oops". Smells so good in here. Which the store was close to home!

This place is chocolate heaven!! I purchased some assorted chocolates for my mom on her birthday. I also bought a few for myself.

Where do you go when you need a box of assorted white chocolates? Esther Price. Or what about a bag of chocolates individually wrapped in like tiny presents? Esther Price. But what if you need a gift basket full of sugar free chocolates? Esther Price has you covered. Like many others who grew up in the greater Cincinnati area, I once thought that assorted chocolates always came in big gold boxes. Little did I know I was only lucky enough to have been born in the backyard of the Esther Price corporate headquarters. Yes, you can buy Esther Price off of nearly any grocery store shelf anywhere in America because the chocolates have been so successful. However, if you are lucky enough to be near an Esther Price store in Cincinnati, where they still make the chocolates fresh in house, stop in and try a few. It is worth the visit.

Is this location still open? I drove by today, and the place seemed to be permanently closed. I know, this is not a review, but I will review when I make a trip if they are not closed !

After living in Dayton for 20 years, I moved back to Denver. But I still had to get my Esther Price chocolates. I order every Christmas. I've eaten chocolates from many many places all over the world, and Esther Price somehow manages to have the perfect chocolate and the perfect fillings. So delicious. You can't go wrong. Next thing you know you'll be having them shipped to you, too.
