Stopped in for the first time, so I had to get two of everything. So far I have like all of them, we got the dark chocolate versions. We also got a box of bourbon cherry, I have to say that I like the regular chocolate covered cherry the gals gave me to try.The gals in the shop are sweet like the candy.

SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST! These chocolates are seriously the best and the shop is so cute! The chocolates are thick, creamy, and full of flavor! You can buy a box assortment of milk chocolates, dark chocolates, or a combo. My favorite are the chocolate caramel filled, peanut butter, and cherry filled! They also will dip a wine bottle in chocolate for you. It's a great gift or party favor! They have tons of other candies as well!It's a must visit in Dayton, the chocolates are so worth it!

Stopped in for the first time. Purchased a few items. Bought a few different cream eggs and a couple solid Chocolate Rabbits. Butter Pecan eggs were good. Coconut Cream wasn't to my liking, to sweet and lacking Coconut. My wife had Chocolate Pecan she thought they were to creamy not enough Pecan. Chocolate Rabbits were good. Overall good Candy but not great candy. Service was great. Staff was very friendly.

Esther Price Candies & Gifts is a Dayton tradition!I grew up raised on Esther Price Candy, many a visit to Wayne Ave location as a little kid, the factory is right there, so smells delicious from the time to walk in.Associates are very friendly and ready to help you with your chocolate candy needs, they will also allow you to have a sample, as a kid they had a jar out for the samples, but now due to health regulations they give you a fresh sample.Lucked out on this visit they had a bulk candy sale - fudge creams my favorite were $7.95 a pound.A visit to Esther Price on Wayne Avenue is a must while in Dayton, OH even if you've lived here for years or are just visiting their chocolate is so good!

Always a pleasure when stopping in to stock up on goodies. Makes the drive from Minnesota worth it.

Just had a $20 box of Ester Price candies. What a waste of hard earned money. I'm not joking when I say 98% of the box is shitty cream filled chocolates. There are 2 layers Bottom layer has 2 caramels, 1 chocolate covered cherry and the rest are shit creams. Top layer may may have had 5 non-creams. Maybe some people think it's okay to spend $20 on $3.00 worth of candy but never again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice--we'll not going to fool me again.

Being raised with Esther Price my whole life so far has made me have extremely high expectations for all chocolate. It is very rare when I even find a chocolate that comes close to how amazing Esther Price is. This is the OG (Original Gangsta) location. This is my favorite location. They have everything. Things you haven't even seen before that they make. I take my Grandma here on Easter and Christmas and she easily drops $100+ for family Easter baskets (Chocolate Cream Eggs), Stockings (Chocolate Santas), and she always sends a box of Mike-Sells chocolate covered potato chips to our family in other states. Coming in here and picking out a box of chocolates as a gift is always a great idea. All the women who work here are super nice. Even when there is a line out the door and they are packed, they are still very patient and helpful. I think that the only negative to this location is the parking lot is on the smallish side and it's sometimes hard to get around in and get out of. But that's never been enough to stop me from stopping here.If you stop by, feel free to grab me a box of the cherries dipped in chocolate and buttercream and put them in and around my mouth. Because they are the best ever.

Esther Price has been a family favorite for years. We love to get it whenever we are in town. The chocolate covered potato chips and peanut butter candies are our favorites.

Used to order from them regularly until they missed a Thanksgiving delivery by one day, arrived on Friday the day after. Should have been shipped earlier on Monday (not Tuesday) and was ordered the previous Saturday. Just bought about $100 worth of chocolates as gifts from one of their competitors, who actually deliver on time!

Missed this candy after 5 years in California so I ordered on line WHAT A MISTAKE!!!They took my money, I cannot find or track my order, I was forced to pay for priority shipping that never happened and they don't answer messages you send them. DO NOT ONLINE ORDER FROM THEM EVER. Buy it if you are every back in the midwest VERY DISAPPOINTED.
