Fun Pirate Room

Extremely fun for the family! The employees were super helpful as me and my child were having trouble completing the puzzles in the pirate room. There is a choice between the castle room or pirate room. Award metals are rewarded if a certain amount of points are scored. Tickets can be bought online or in person. Party rooms can be rented as well. Parking is abundant.

I took my nephew here to do the Robin Hood room for his birthday. The space is really cute, and the idea is that all the puzzles are available at the same time so you don't have to wait and you're just trying to solve as many as possible to get points- which come in the form of yellow balls as prizes that you get for solving a puzzle and then have to toss up into an opening high up on the wall. The problem this creates is that it's easy to get overwhelmed and not know where to start so there was a lot of us running in circles trying to figure out where to dig in. Some puzzles need at least two people for sure, and a larger group is probably a good idea to divide and conquer. My buddy got a little frantic, but at the very last minute a special emergency ball supply dropped open so we got a minute of running around and gathering as many as we could for a last minute point boost. I'm going to guess that might be something they do for rooms with kids specifically? Either way, nice touch and it was a lot of fun - I know my nephew loved that part. The puzzles are not really scaled down for children, and the next room over had four adults who were working together and clearly having a great time and still struggling. It was fun though and if he wants to go back, we'll go back for sure.

Had my son's 10th birthday party there over the weekend and everyone had a blast. The puzzles were inventive and it was nice as they could split into smaller groups and handle different puzzles at the same time instead of trying to focus a dozen kids onto one thing. We also booked a party room. We were able to bring in all of our own food and drinks. We were also responsible for serving, but it wasn't bad with the party size. My son was already asking if we can do it again for next year.

We had a great time- the downside was that we had booked a specific time with a specific end time in mind- but ended up waiting over half an hour for others who did NOT make reservations (they just called while we were sitting there and asked if they could squeeze in). The kids were getting frustrated and bored about the wait and we ended up being late for our event afterwards. The people they paired us with were not very intelligent or helpful in the room, and the older kids were using some inappropriate language (their parent did not come into the room with them). On the plus side, we did enjoy the room, it was challenging and it was neat that you earn medals and points by doing puzzles and collecting balls- it isn't like you either Get out or don't, like a grown-up escape room. I would love to come back and try again, I am just not sure I can pay that much to risk a mediocre experience because of others in the room with us again, that is totally random.

I took 2 8 year olds and 2 11 year olds. We didn't know what to expect, but was it ever fun! We had a great time! We didn't solve all of them and some were really hard, which made it even better. The hour went fast and we were exhausted when we were done. Such a fun thing to do as a family- highly recommend. We did the wizard room but I suspect they're all equally good.

We took our kids and a couple of their friends but quickly learned this isn't a "Family" escape room at all. Very challenging for the kids & they quickly became frustrated. Thankfully the adults were there to help. Not the birthday celebration we were hoping to have for the kids. If you are looking to do this for kids that are younger than 12 I would say go somewhere else. Don't think we will ever go back.

Had an good time when we went for my sons birthday party. We made our reservations online ahead of time and paid for 7 people. We found out a couple hours before our reserved time that some people in our party may have been exposed the previous day and we didn't want to risk anyone else so we called to change to 4 people. Was told to call next day for refund. Told next day that they don't give refunds or credit for future visits. Pretty bad business practice to have during these unsure times. We had planned on revisiting again but will go elsewhere, and would advise anyone who does go to wait and pay at venue, or better yet go someplace that expects changes happen especially now

Loving Escape Rooms but couldn't find any for kids. But this one just opened near Tri-County and caters to ages 8 to 15. We celebrated with twelve ten year olds and they had a blast! Highly recommend.

Came for my son's 11th birthday and all the kids had a blast! It was the easiest birthday party I've ever planned. Just had to show up with a cake and order pizza at the front desk. The kids were engaged the whole time with the puzzles and tasks. Rented the party room after, and it was perfect!
