El Trompo Mexican Grill Monroe

Went to the Monroe Ohio location tonight 25 Oct, 2024.Ambiance was awesome, decor was the Dia de Los Muertos style with a funky vibe, atmosphere very Festa vibe.Food was phenomenal, I had the "Pesco Changa" (Lobster and Shrimp).Will definitely be returning .Servers very energetic,Service was great.

Delicious margaritas and fantastic service + atmosphere. The vibes are awesome and all of the art is so cool. The food is also really good. Kind of pricey but not horrible for the amount of food you get.

We came here Saturday for a birthday party. I love the decor of the place. It was a little loud but I didn't mind. If that kind of thing bothers you, maybe come earlier in the day or during the week. The wait staff were very nice and helpful. I didn't get much to eat but the margaritas are delicious. Great place to have a party with family and friends.

I've been here 3 times & all 3 times the service has been terrible! I ordered my tacos with the "gold sauce" on the side but the sauce came on it anyways. It tasted like Thousand Island dressing so it's not pleasant on the shrimp tacos. You guys really need to get your act together! I have eaten at the Union Centre location several times & the service has always been excellent.

A bright festive new Mexican food restaurant. We were seated promptly and our service was average, we had to wait for long periods for our server to show for additional drink orders and for the check. The food and drink we had was above average for most of the Mexican food restaurants we have visited in the Cincinnati area. Being very new, I am sure there are a lot of kinks to work out especially with the staff that on several occasions were gathered at the host desk and it seemed like they were socializing rather than waiting on customers.

El Tropo is the Mexican restaurant is the fancy of the Mexican around. Great atmosphere, quality consistent food, and fast friendly service. Plus it's next to to dispensaries. Get baked and eat!

Good quality food, great atmosphere! They have a festive and fun atmosphere. The menu is huge with a variety of unusual choices as well as the traditional ones you would expect. Nachos are plentiful and tasty. The drinks come usually with a flair, some even come out smoking (dry ice). Service was great, lots of staff and managers available. Some nights they have live entertainment and/or band. It is a bit pricier than your normal Mexican restaurant but well worth it for a better experience!

Exciting place to eat. Best Mexican food I ever had. I lived in Arizona for 5 years and didn't find Mexican food as good as these guys. Great drinks also.

The atmosphere and food is amazing. The speciality adult drinks look so exciting and tasty .The staff is great to deal with and other staff will help if your server is taking care of others. The staff works as a team and customer service is always great

Some great looking menu items that were different from the things you see at every other Mexican restaurant. Birria was great, the sides were great and a little different from what I normally get. Food came out quickly. Different and interesting margaritas too. Atmosphere was pretty fun as well, even on a Wednesday night.
