First, the market side is a gem. Great selection. All the servers are friendly and the food is some of the best Mexican in town. The ground beef tacos ARE the best in town. The store is always busy and always clean. Plus super safe as first responders eat there constantly!

You know you've found a great taco place when the Hispanic community embrace it. I even come to their store to buy my corn tortillas for making tacos at home. They carry El Milagro brand, which is definitely the best. Everything I have eaten here is delicious and made with care. The vibe is so fun, although small for a group larger than four. The servers are super nice and always take care of you. A Richmond gem!

This was a fun new Richmond experience. Richmond is halfway between our home in Indy and my hometown, so it'd always fun to discover new spots along the way. This market has been open more than six years and sitting in my bookmarks waiting to be explored. It's part restaurant and part grocery with a few baked items (like conchae) to boot. We called ahead for a carry out order and tried the popular chunky guacamole, beef enchilada with rice and beans, salsa, and chicken chimichanga. We also needed a few items to make chicken pozole and breakfast tacos this weekend as well- they had fresh cilantro, tomatillos, jalapeños, hominy, and queso fresco. Annddd because we were hungry (and weak ) we picked up some snacks for the road like seasoned peanuts and Chile y limon chicharrones. Next time, we'll go for the horchata or agua Fresca. The gentleman working the counter was both friendly and helpful. The only reason dog holding back on the fifth star was the strong smell of fish or bad ventilation in the shop and the enchilada was a little greasy for my liking. The guacamole was chunky as others said- excellent! Enjoy this fun watery steps from the heart of downtown historic Richmond.

Love this place. Reminds me of Austin, Texas. Authentic. Nothing fancy. Guacamole is a chunky Pico with Avocado chunks . . . luv it. Great little street tacos. Wonderful burritos. I just recently tried their white cheese sauce . . . Best I've EVER had!

I came here on a Wednesday with my boyfriend and ordered the carne Asada steak tacos and I tried the egg stuffed meatball. Everything was very delicious and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some authentic Mexican food. It's definitely a mouth for the south type of spot.
