This is my brother's favorite restaurant and he's been trying to convince me to try it for awhile...and he was right. It was delicious!I'm not a big fan of Chinese food and I thought the combination of Chinese and Mexican foods might smell weird together but it didn't.The service was fantastic. We were greeted right away and she was super friendly, checking in on us multiple times. I chose the chicken tacos. They had lots of cilantro which I love. There was a good amount of chicken too. The red table sauce was the perfect amount of spicy to add on top. The chips and salsa were delicious too. But my favorite was the agua fresca. They have a different flavor everyday. Today was tamarind watermelon. It was so good.Everything was well priced. I'll definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place. I went to college in the area and it was one of our favorite restaurants everyone we recommend it to loved it! The staff is so nice and the food is so good. True authentic Mexican food. I moved away and any time I am back in the area I make sure to go even if it is out of the way. The limes that they also give you are so juicy! This place is a gem!

Well, I must say that this is a first for me. A Mexican/Chinese food restaurant. I must have died and gone to heaven. If it could not get any better, they have ice cream too. The restaurant has a decent sized parking lot that it shares with the other stores in the strip mall that it is located. The restaurant is small and has a relatively small dining area that you can eat in. They have some items like tamales are only available at certain times on certain days. I ordered the gordita. It definitely was not your Taco Bell gordita. It was open faced, huge and delicious. It had a little kick to it like I like. The gordita covered the entire plate. I got a cup of their melon drink that they made in house. It was like i just put a straw in a melon and started drinking. I highly recommend it.The staff there is friendly and willing to help you decipher the menu if you are like me and not familiar with some of its items. This place is a Mexican restaurant that has Chinese food and ice cream. There Mexican food is authentic and delicious. I really enjoy my meal and could barely finish it because it was so big. I highly recommend this place. It is a diamond in the rough.

When you learn your SIL is in from out of town and staying at a place on the southside, you know you're going to let Yelp light your way for dinner options! And as usual, Yelp did not disappoint! There's no way I would have ever known about this beautiful little neighborhood family-owned restaurant otherwise.First off, this is NOT a fusion place. There are two separate menus, one for mexican food, and the other for Chinese food. We ordered off both menus, and all three dishes were delicious. Another thing to note is that every item on the menus can be made "vegetarian" if that's what you're looking for.I ordered the tacos con todo without meat. So inside the three corn tortilla tacos was beans, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, rice, crema, and avocado. I also received a little plate with two containers of sauce (one red and one green) and some freshly sliced cucumbers. Just the right amount of food--not too much and not to little. Our group also ordered spicy Thai chicken and mild shrimp fried rice. And both were bangin'! The restrooms were brightly lit and clean and the service was very polite and attentive. Please note that their hours are currently different than what they normally are. I think the sign said they're now open Tuesday-Sunday, but don't quote me on that. Just call and check.

A neighborhood hidden gem in a strip on the corner of E. Edgewood Ave and Madison Ave. serving a small menu of Mexican food...and Chinese food?!!! Crazy! But, having heard some decent reviews and it being so close to home, why not try it?I tried the Asada burrito which was HUGE. Maybe a little less meat than I would have liked but beans, rice and fresh, crispy lettuce, cilantro, onions, cheese and sour cream. It was FRESH tasting and so filling. My daughter tried Sesame Chicken with steamed rice and it was surprisingly good. I would even say better than a lot of Chinese restaurants! Plenty of chicken, sauce and rice and could even be split between two people. My husband ordered a seasoned pork (pastor) Gordita. He isn't a fan of the ground corn (masa) shell but he ate this huge Gordita that was as large as the plate. He really enjoyed it and felt it was worth every penny. As for eating in, the place appeared clean and staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable and food was fresh and tasty. Definitely going to be on our restaurant rotation. Even better that we can support this small, independent business. Give them a try!

Food was great and their mangonadas are hella good. A tad bit pricy for tacos but I'll say it was worth it just because the flavor was on point.

Good food but service and wait time is ridiculous if you order in English. My wife called and placed an order and was given a 15 minute time. Upon arriving at the estimated time we found our order was not put in because the very young child 12 years old working the phones never put the ticket in. I would have been more patient if my own 3 children were not left waiting in the car. Total time for 1 burrito and 6 tacos was 52 minutes. Ridiculous. I will not be back.

Amazing food and nice people! First time ordering from a Mexican/Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The Aqua Fresca's are a must try with fresh fruit and rotating flavors. Best crab Rangoon around. Will definitely be back!
