Today while in Dayton, Ohio With Kayla and the grand babies, Saige & Deacon we opted to have lunch at El Riacho Mexican Restaurant.I actually located them with Google maps app, and we were very pleased with our choice.Saige just rEnjoys the chips and salsa which she rated a 4 because it was not spicy enough. I had a unsweetened tea With lemon And lime along with shredded chicken lunch burrito with beans and rice.Kayla had a medley of steak, chicken and shrimp burrito bowl and Deacon enjoyed Chicken Rice with plenty of melted queso cheese. Kids had soda and Kayla a diet coke. The food was very good and the waiter very pleasant.Definitely would go again if in the area.

Hubby and I visited El Riacho this afternoon. We were immediately greeted and seated at a rather large comfortable booth. Warm chips and salsa were brought to the table. We started with an empanada appetizer and hubby ordered the tongue tacos and an a la carte enchilada. I had the Riacho fajita which has chicken, beef, and shrimp. Both us us were quite happy with our order and the atmosphere remained comfortable and enjoyable. We will most certainly return.

This place serves some of the best margaritas I have had-strong and not too sickly sweet. The vegetarian combo plates are always good, if a little pricey. Our waiter has always been just the kindest and very quick with the service. The queso is the more liquidy kind, which isn't terrible, but would like it to be a little less runny. My father raves about the tacos and I've had the vegetarian fajitas and also found that to be tasty. Overall, the food has been standard Mexican fare-consistently good, not out of this world amazing. We keep coming back for those incredible margaritas.

Checked this place out with my family a few weeks back. Service is fun and friendly, margaritas are good, and the chips and salsa are exactly what you'd expect at a family style Mexican restaurant. However, my meal was a bit disappointing. I tried the steak burrito and unfortunately the steak was dry and chewy. I'm definitely willing to give them another shot, but I wouldn't try the steak again. This is clearly not their forte.

Great selection of good home style Mexican food, consistently prepared. Not overly salty or spicy, like some chain restaurants but always flavorful , and always fresh. You're greeted with a basket of warm chips and freshly made salsa and they make the BEST Golden Margarita I've ever had. The friendly service is always on point, food is served in an appropriate length of time, and although it has a small footprint, they can still accommodate larger groups of 10 or 12 by calling ahead. Seating is comfortable, and the decor is culturally correct. Favorite dishes include fajitas and also their Tacos deluxe with your choice of beef, chicken, shrimp, and tilapia. One can't overlook the Fajita Bowl as a delicious entree . The dish is your fajita favorites blended with a delicious cheesy rice. It never disappoints. This is a place that values its patrons, and consistently provides good food and good service that keeps customers coming back.

This spot rocks to the bone we always have a gas blowin stanky dance when we come here the staff is amazing and prices rock .
