This is my brothers new favorite place to eat so he invited us all there for his birthday tonite. It's on another old Frisches Big Boy and the building hasn't been altered at all. It was kinda crazy lol. It's very tastefully decorated, but set up exactly the same. The menu had lots of options. Great salsa. Everyone gets their own little salsa bowl and they come around regularly with salsa in water pitchers to refill. Genius idea. I got the steak fajita quesadilla and it was fabulous. My husband got chicken fajita burrito and enjoyed it. My brother got this dish with bacon and steak and chorizo and it came with soft tortillas. The bacon was left. My older nephew got steak street tacos and he loves them. The younger nephew got enchiladas. He always gets a plate of refried beans cuz he loves them. All the drinks looked delicious but I didn't get one this time around. The service was great. We will definitely be back.

This place opened after we had moved from Urbana so today was the first chance I have had to eat here since they opened. This was a fantastic dining experience. The interior design is beautiful, the staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Hands down the best sit down experience we have had in ages. My daughter and I tried the jalapeño margarita which sounded fun and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Molcajete Loco which was huge! The meat and poblanos were perfectly charred and the sauce was wonderful. And the small touches they add make you feel special. The hubby got huge brownie points for picking this place to spend Valentine's Day. It is well worth the drive to visit and I plan to do this trip often. A fantastic addition to Urbana.

My in-laws live in Urbana and we asked them if they'd like to have an early dinner. There is such a lack of restaurants in this small town. Literally there's this place, another Mexican restaurant down the road and 'The Farmers daughter" are pretty much all this small town has, except there are several fast food places being most of the choices. I think there might be a "sit down restaurant" downtown but parking is difficult there.So... I didn't take pictures but our food was wonderful! The service was great, and our server was pleasant, on task for any needs at the table and food was priced reasonably. 5 adults with full meals was approximately $75. We had huge portions that only my husband and his dad were able to finish. Compared to Mexican restaurants in nearby towns they are mediocre compared to what we had today. Definitely will be back!

1st time and if I lived in the area we would be going back regularly. But the family does. The location is clean and bright and service could not have been better. But that's not why you're here, is it? My granddaughter has the street tacos and they looked great. And she said they were. She's been here before. I had the shrimp diablo, excellent. Very spicy and not overwhelming. But for those who don't like heat STAY AWAY. Go. You'll like it.

We went to the restaurant after hearing good reviews from family members and going to their counterpart in Piqua. We had had good food in the Piqua location and were looking for the same. Today was a Sunday and it was busy, which we knew would mean slow service. When we were finally brought our food, mine was served by a gentleman who warned me about my hot plate - not a problem. Imagine my surprise when I tasted my beans and found them to be cold on my chalupa and the beans on my plate, too. A second part of my plate was brought to me later, my relleno, but not until I had asked for it. The relleno was very small and very bready. I ate quietly because it was my sister's birthday and I wanted it to be nice for her. When we were checking out, the gentleman asked how my meal was, and I told him it was okay but that part of my meal was cold when I got it - the beans. I was told by another gentleman, who I think was the manager, in front of a large group of waiting customers, that "some people are just hard to please." This comment surprised and upset me! There was no apology or explanation other than to blame it on my preference for a warm meal. I was not looking for a free meal. I did tell both gentlemen that "cold is cold no matter what." I got the impression that I was supposed lie and to tell them that all was good and to just check out. Perhaps the personnel need to stop asking how the food was if they do not want an honest answer. I would not recommend this restaurant right now, unless you do not mind cold food.R. McKamy
