El Gran Valle Verde is now my family's favorite place!!! Everyone here is always so nice to us and the food is SO GOOD!!!! The guacamole here converted a self-avowed avocado hater into a guac lover!I love their street tacos, the asada is super on point. They give huge portions! I want to branch out more in ordering but I'm still in love with the tacos. We liked the quesadilla and birria also. Also the salsa is delicious!!!Idk why there's such a low rating here on Yelp but it's wrong!! I'm so grateful for El Gran Valle Verde!!!

A variety of unique and high-quality meats that are difficult to find elsewhere. In addition, the bakery section boasts an impressive selection of freshly baked goods that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Moving on to the taqueria side, the queso birra is a must-try dish - it's cheesy, meaty, and packed with flavor. The tacos are also delicious and come in a variety of fillings such as al pastor, carne asada, and chicken tinga. Overall, El Valle Verde Mkt & Taqueria is a fantastic spot for both grocery shopping and casual dining. Be sure to check it out since the expansion and renovations

I really dislike posting reviews with such low stars, but it does happen.First let me say I came here because I had a $25 gift card via Restaurant.com basically spend $50 and you get $25 off you meal. I walked in with my family and no one was there to seat us. There were only 2 other tables full in the place and we had to walk up to the counter and ring the bell for someone to walk over from the grocery store side (I didn't mind this). We were seated and the menu look amazing, I truly mean the food options reminded me of being in Mexico. 3 out of the 4 of us ordered horchata which was oh so very tasty. 1 ordered water. The server brought out chips and salsa, sadly the chips were very stale.I will only say what I ordered which was the Milanesa - Tender juicy steak or chicken thighs freshly breaded served with Mexican rice, beans and salad.I had the Steak option. The steak was perfectly done and the saving grace of the review. the rice was lukewarm along with the beans. All 4 meals came with rice that was lukewarm and lukewarm beans. No one but myself mentioned that anything was close to hot other than my steak. We had also order Plantains, which was a dessert, but I ordered as an appetizer, these were hot and tasty. They were served with sour cream which I thought was odd, but this may have been normal.Basically mostly cold food that should have been hot. Not very impressed and I doubt I will be back.

We walked in for the first time and no one spoke English. We tried to order and she didn't understand us. She brought us the opposite of what we wanted. We left.

This place's food is delicious and authentic. Tastes like whats in Mexico. They also have Puerto Rican food. The salsa they serve with chips is not tomato based but a creamy habanero or chipotle type one. It's pretty good and they also have plenty of limes available. The steak torta is awesome. The service can be eh but I'd still go back cuz it's so yum.

I really wanted to like this place. I like trying new places, especially little mom and pop places. We walked in and the staff was very sweet, the owner helping us choose our dishes, and trying to accommodate our two little girls. It all went down hill from there, sadly. We ordered a bit everything as the prices are very reasonable. However, I found a chicken bone not once, but in 3 separate dishes. My chorizo taco was dry and sad. The cheese quesadilla was greasy. The salsas were good and seemed fresh, but the chips were greasy. I really wish it had been good food! I wanted to like them!

I like the original El Valle Verde restaurant. Even though they tend to have some issues. So, with a coupon in hand I went to check out their other location. Awful. Not as comfortable as the other location. Feels dirty and rundown. The service is terrible. Took an hour to get orders of tacos and we were the only customers in the restaurant. By the time the food came, the girl forgot my order entirely. If I hadn't been so hungry and it hadn't been so late, I would've just said forget it. They really need to do something about the service when Taqueria Mercado is just down the street. Food here is typical.

Ordered from here on a Tuesday night. On the plus side: my order came fast (thatnk you, Uber Eats delivery, excellent as always!) ...food was still warm, and the bag contained plastic-ware, and I did not get food poisoning. Yey!On the minus side, "guacamole" was really 1/2 an avocado (barely ripe), the shrimp in hot sauce were not actually spicy, and came covered with a layer of onions, not listed on the menu :(Removing this place from my Uber Eats favorites. Why isn't there a Habaneros nearby?

I LOVE Mexican Food--But this place was NOT one of my favorites. Food is okay but didn't like it enough to go back. Maybe worth trying once but that was enough for me personally. Staff/servers were nice but were NOT informed about THEIR ad on restaurant.com therefore, would not honor my gift card which prompted me to try it in the first place. That added to a not so great experience for me but paid the bill in full anyway.
