Eastgate Lanes

I love bowling here! I actually grew up bowling at these lanes, as it was close to my high school; however, I think I have enjoy it now even more as an adult!Bowling here was a great activity during Covid, as it was not super crowded. Most of the evenings we went were on the weekends around 7 o'clock, and we only had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes for a lane. One of my favorite things about this place is that if you need a lighter ball, you can ask the front desk. They keep 8 pound balls in the back-- Super light, but it does not hurt my back (also great for my 81 year olds grandma who still bowls!!) There are also tons of ball options all around the interior of the building.Lots of lanes--24, in fact. It's super casual--kind of has an older bar-like feel. You do see lots of families playing together, teenagers, and an older crowd who are practicing for their leagues. It's not expensive--and it's a great place to just stop in and practice. I wouldn't call this place fancy--but it does exactly what it needs to do without the crazy crowds or prices. Do note that the weekends and anytime they have leagues will be more crowded. Check their website for deals, as one day during the week they have a two hour time slot where you can bowl all you want, as well as get some food. You do have to rent bowling shoes, so don't forget to bring your own pair of socks!

Gotta say I use to be a huge fan on this place 5ish years ago when me and buddies would go during the day for cheap pitchers, cheap howling, and fun but it's just alright now.I dont know if it was because we went early on the weekend vs. Weekday but prices for bowling seemed higher than I remembered. They also didn't have a ball my girlfriend could comfortably hold... even after she went up to ask for a lighter ball (shes tiny).The atmosphere was kinda like an old bowling ally that gave up but still can bring the fun of bowling. It just didnt meet the standards I've yet after living in Fairfield where there are 3 bowling places 10 minutes or so apart and 4 20 mins or less.Will be back just because it's the only ally close other than Mason bowl which I refuse to go back to based on the 10 dollar minimum even though he didnt say anything about it until we were told its league night and we couldnt bowl.

Neon lights, beer, friends and fun. What more can I ask for? We bowled two games and it was pretty cheap. Have not tried the food, but my experience at Eastgate Lanes was a great one and would go back.

The bowling itself is alright usually. This time we bowled two games and our lane froze/messed up at least 15 times. We spent more time waiting on the staff to fix our lane than actually bowling. The food is typical bar food. The combination platter is good. Beer is normal price. Don't use lane 2 if you want to actually bowl! I then asked to talk to a manager because of the terrible experience and after a decent wait, he refunded one of our 2 games.

The place is falling apart and the lanes are in poor condition. The focus isn't on the customer experience and I probably won't return

If I could give 0 stars I would, this place amazes me in the way it can check all the boxes on a bad bowling alley. The workers lied abt the wait time before we arrived and had to wait after they said we wouldn't. The lanes are barely oiled and provide no spin. Not to mention the lanes continuously broke and we had to wait for them to fix it each time which added almost 45 mins extra to the game. I do not recommend for anyone. I much prefer cherry grove if looking for a good bowling alley.

Bowling lane is run down a bit. Beware- they don't honor the specials they advertise. If you have to pay full price better off going to a bowling alley that is in better shape

Tried to use a coupon for 50% off. The guy told me I couldn't after 6pm. The coupon didn't say that but he didn't care. Then we asked for bumpers and they wouldn't let us use them cuz we didn't have young kids. What does this even matter? Also the lane took several mins each turn to reset. Will not return!

Came here for an afternoon 2 hour bowl. They let us finish our game we started right before 2 hours was up which was very nice! The place is clean and full of games for the kids. We enjoyed our time here!

The place good but if you have your own ball I would not recommend using it because it ruins your balls it makes it black and very disgusting they definitely need to upgrade there equipment but other than that it's okay
