I stopped in today because some guys at work talked about so good. It's a good place. When I walked in there was nobody to talk to. After a bit i heard some talking. Then s lady came out and asked me what I might want. I said I wanted 3 tenderloins and then the phone rang and she was off on the phone again. Finally she came out and told me that they only had 2 tenderloin. That's what I bought.Now, given that, this is a place that can hook you up on your meat choices. The meat is great and the prices are very good. I've not seen tenderloins cheaper anywhere.

I stop by here every week and buy 20 lbs of strip steak for 3.99 a pound. Absolutely amazing quality meat. I eat 2 lbs a night for dinner as I am on a keto one meal a day diet and have never looked or felt better in my life.They vaccuum seal in 2 lb increments for free!10 bucks a day for food. To put this in context, 2 double quarter pounders from McDonalds cost 10.20. Which would be a single pound of ground beef... You can eat high quality steak for a fraction of the price of fast food ground beef!

Everything I've gotten here is really good. Best NY strips I've ever had. Pork shoulder was very good and well priced. Stuffed Pork chops changed my life. Very good meats and very good prices. I won't get meat from the store now because it's so good from here!!!!

My boyfriend and I picked this butcher because of the reviews on yelp and google and he's here from Virginia visiting for the holidays as I work as a travel tech in pathology. I asked for a 2 bone-in rib roast for Christmas and while they did cut to order, they cut the bones off and reattached with string! Who does that for a bone-in roast, especially a reputable butcher? The meat was good but because they decided to cut the bones off, without asking, the meat cooked different than I'm used to and half was over cooked. I should have realized there was a problem when they asked when we were going to cook it and said Christmas and they cryo-vac'ed it for 4 days away. My butcher in Virginia never cryo-vac's anything because unless you ask them to cut the bones off they do not. This shop cryo-vac'ed because THEY introduced the possibility of bacteria by cutting the bones off and reattaching with string. My boyfriend and I know exactly what we should have gotten and about the bacteria because we also dry age at home. My only other thing to say, is make sure that you get exactly what you ask for and if you're not happy make them fix it.Edited to add: I was carving meat off the bone to eat. And this "butcher" actually gave us a one bone roast with a tiny bit of a second bone at either end. Not even close to what we asked for.

Brought harvested deer to East Dayton Meats for processing . Asked for all three rear rounds to be separated and packaged whole . This is what I got . What kind of butcher would do this . One bag wasn't even tied closed . These quarters were deboned the shoved into plastic bags with outer fat and deer hair covered . For $130 I would expect at least some effort put into processing . For deer processing East Dayton Meats is one of the worst places I have ever paid to process my harvest . Also tried to charge me an additional $25 for cutting antlers off skull after giving me a quote and leaving a required $25 deposit for butchering .

Best place to buy bulk meat like steaks from a wholesaler that sells to residential buyers . I mostly buy bulk whole loins to get a better price, but they do sell by the steak also. I tell them the thickness, how I want the fat trimmed and then they vacuum seal two steaks per freezer bag (I think they currently charge .50c per bag if you only want 1 steak per bag). Steaks never freezer burn. Most cuts of steak are 5.99 to 7,99 per lb. You can call ahead for orders and they also offer delivery. I also like to buy their whole chicken breast (I can pickup for 2.09 dollars on sale - about 2 lbs per double breast vacuum sealed or deli counter sale), brats, sausage, hamburger. Bring cash to avoid the credit card fee.

I just got back from shopping at your market I tasted everything I got omg! It took me back to my childhood shopping with my Mom she was very pickie about her meat .I have been shopping this markets most of my life and I have never really enjoyed their deli I thought it was just me and my taste buds boy was I wrong.
