Played this course today and it's one the best public course that I've played, the greens are fast and in good shape the fairways are cut just right and would recommend this course for anyone.

Don't waste your time if you aren't a "member" As pretty as the course is, there is work that needs to be done on the fairways and areas around the greens. For a course that charges a membership, you would think better care would be taken. I was disappointed. The employees by far is why I will never return. I literally live 2 miles away, and would rather drive to Lexington to spend my money to play golf. Best of luck out there.

This place puts the country in country club. I am a regular patron of the course. A friend of mine is a member. So I frequently ride along and sometimes play. They have gone through a change in golf pros over the past couple of years including this year. So there is room for improvement however the course and people are perfect for the area. My friend is a first year member and loves the course and people. Both men and women are very welcoming. They have a regular game Sat, Sun and Wed for men and women on Monday so it's easy to meet new people and make friends. Member fees are very reasonable and did I mention they have a pool. The clubhouse is not pretentious and offers a decent selection of concession foods and adult beverages. The younger patrons are just as respectful as the 30 yr members. The staff is made up of members so they have a vested interest in treating you right. They offer several tournaments throughout the season and keep the members informed when the course will be busy with outings. Well worth the visit. The course layout is a little odd because 9,10 and 18 are naturally 'near' the clubhouse but 18 is no where near 17 so pay attention to the signs. You will need a cart on this course. Hills are involved. There's 1 pond that I've seen someone fishing but it really isn't a water hazard the way it is positioned. The fairways are zoysia grass and have faired very well. The greens are good. My friend enjoys the course because he says it challenges his game every time he plays. No repeat experiences. They have a free driving range and putting green. Carts are gas. Restrooms including portables are clean.

Great course!! Fast greens and very well maintained fairways. Some of the most challenging par 3's you will ever play. Give it a try I have no doubt you will enjoy this little hidden gem.
