Two paper towels. One Egg Foo Young. Swimming pool of grease.

We used to order from here relatively regularly because it's only one of two Chinese delivery places in South Dayton and it was the best of the two. Its been hit or miss the last couple of years but our meal tonight was disgusting. We ordered beef and broccoli (had a strange, chemically, bitter taste), sesame chicken (odd, chewy texture and did not taste like sesame chicken should), chicken lo mein (tasted ok but overly salty and had weird, rubbery noodles), shrimp fried rice (shrimp had an off, overly fishy flavor and the whole dish was so salty it was inedible), fried dumplings (had a weird chemical flavor), fried won tons (these were chewy and the meat inside tasted old) with sweet and sour sauce (was the consistency of jelly) and last but not least, the fortune cookies were so stale we were able to unfold them to take the paper out. Not even kidding. After 10 years of relatively regular ordering, we will never order from here again. If I thought anything would come from it, I'd call and complain, but the last two times we got something or another that was bad, they didn't make it right. This time everything we ordered was unbelievably bad. Business lost for good from us and hopefully this review will save someone else some money.

I'm gonna have to throw some hate here. Grease. Salt. Science Ingredients. Does this sound appealing? I found your next dinner: This place. Pictured here is Egg Foo Young. I noticed the first couple bits to be very juicy. Cool maybe they were steamed? No. they were dripping oil. As it collected in the pan major lakes of hot grease formed into bubbles being the main source of liquid. TWO PAPER TOWELS (brawny not great value) completely saturated by the grease of just ONE of the pancakes. I literally was eating grease with some veggies. Upon this realization I threw it away and came to this review. (My fingers are slippery even now after washing them and typing this.)We also got the crab Rangoon. This is an odd flavor, they may have been around a while. Not very crispy. Also ordered chicken lo mein: a salt mine with noodles. I need a cigarette to kill the sodium attacking my tongue right now. If you actually appreciate asian cuisine, stay far away. If you like your Chinese food with lots of soy sauce packets, yum yum sauce, and a greasy fork. You'll be happy.

The food is decent. BUT. The service is so terrible. We've ordered food for delivery several times because it's one of the only Chinese food places in the area (with good food) that delivers to us. The delivery takes forever. We ordered it almost two hours ago and we're STILL WAITING FOR IT, even after calling and complaining a bit ago. We will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. They usually take a long time but never this long. They've also forgotten some of our food once when we had it delivered, which I would let slide once, but they did it again when we picked food up. The food is good but it's not worth the hassle. If you eat there or pick it up to go, it's probably fine, but delivery is out.Update: I have to say, we've ordered from them again, but we pick it up instead of have it delivered.

I ordered Chicken Pad Thai from this restaurant, and Shrimp Pad Thai was delivered. When I called to correct my order, they claimed they cooked it themselves, and the white shrimped shaped objects in my order were in fact, chicken. They refused to listen to me and would not correct my order. Unless they've been catching their chicken under the ocean, I don't know how it could look and taste just like shrimp. I had an allergic reaction to the shellfish and ended up using my epi pen and going to the hospital. Steer clear of this place!!!

Very inconsistent. Been ordering delivery from here for years, to me it tastes like the owners have changed. Cutting corners and not caring- kind of disappointed but not terrible.

Don't order from the Dragon City on Marshall Rd. They're not as good as they used to be. My son and I ordered fried rice, lo mein and crab rangoon for lunch today. The lo mein and fried rice were decent, but the crab rangoon was not so good! Little tiny rangoons, in what tasted like old, expired pastry, and the filling itself really had no taste. The fortune cookies were stale as can be! We couldn't eat them, had to toss them into the garbage! What a buzzkill! That place used to be so good in the past, but now.....I told my son I wished we had ordered from somewhere else. I don't recommend eating at or from the Marshall Rd Dragon City. :-(

I've never actually been to the restaurant but get the delivery every now and then. The food is not bad, I've had better, but the delivery option is crucial. The food always shows up hot and within 20 minutes or so. My favorites are the house lo-mein, and hunan chicken. Last night I tried something new and ordered the beef chow-mein. I was slightly disappointed because it didn't come with noodles at all, and it is my understanding that that is what chow-mein is. The beef was good though and came mixed with cooked onions with fried rice on the side. Dinner for two with egg rolls for only $16, right in the comfort of your own home, isn't a bad way to spend an evening.

Very large lunch portions at a great price and they deliver! Have had a few language barrier issues with delivery location but overall very happy and will continue to go back. The house special lo mein (spicy) is awesome!
